“IAM Sold, was very professional during the process of buying the property. They kept us updated throughout all the process and also they advise us what will be the next step in the process. We as very skeptic because this is our thirst buy, but we received a lot of support along the way from them. The fee is expensive, but frankly is worth. “I was a a bit sceptical at first with the upfront deposit and first time buying from any kind of auction. I was a cash buyer and needed no mortgage after a few days of deliberations with the family and reading the buyers pack about 5 times. I paid the deposit on 25/10/18. On 5/11/18 the draft contracts were issued and the 28/56 day deadlines began. I used a small firm of solicitors in my home town who also were not that too experienced in modern method of auctions. Although we experienced a few unexpected delays from the buyers side the 28 day exchange of contracts passed. I was reassured by members of iamsold staff (especially Jennifer) that the 28 day deadline was a ‘guide’ and we were really aiming for the 56 day completion deadline, which was 02/01/2019. We actually exchanged contracts on the 19th of December and completed on the 20th of December. My overall experience from buying from/via iamsold was excellent with regular updates (phone calls and emails). I recommend potential bidders to read the buyers pack which is readily available on each property and if in doubt show it to their solicitors before bidding. It’s really not as stressful as I originally thought and would definitely do it all over again if the situation arises.”
