“The Honduran Decaf is the best find I have made in a long time. It is one of the strongest dark roast decafs that I have ever had and the aroma and taste is amazing. I am so pleased to have found this decaf as many Coffee sellers sell the plain old boring Colombian which is fine but it is nice to have a stronger, richer flavour from a decaf. The service from H.R. Higgins is fantastic too, fast and efficient. Thanks.”

“I made a pilgrimage to H.R. Higgins on a trip to London because it had been a favourite place of a once London-based relative. I loved the ambience, the service, and the vast selection of coffees and teas. The most amazing thing is that I fell in love with Brazil Santos and really enjoy the 1942 blend, a surprise after decades of insisting on the darkest roasts. These are some of the richest, deepest, smoothest, most non-acidic coffee I've ever had without suffering the charred "ashtray" notes so hard to avoid from many roasters. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

“The coffees are excellent of course. And what I have also greatly enjoyed are the various stories behind some of the coffees. This brings them to life and has encouraged me to try new coffees, and I have even found one or two that rival my own personal favourite - Kenya Estate. Most recently I greatly enjoyed the Nicaragua. And I loved the story of the Kibo Chagga, so that will be my next experiment!”
