“Improved delivery these days helping us get good coffee beans under lockdown. Wish it was easier to browse beans suited for espresso, as the site and store reviews overly favour drip and v60 methods.”

“I have only recently started shopping with H.R. Higgins but am very much enjoying the coffee. A better quality than I have found elsewhere and excellent choice. Very good customer service - I was pleased to receive a telephone call after the delivery company decided - goodness knows why - to return one of my orders to the depot”

“The Orange Pekoe Tea is absolutely top quality and is perfect for a nice malty afternoon cuppa. The website is easy to navigate and ordering is straightforward. The tea is packed nicely in a foil pouch and delivered quickly. I hope that moving forward a more environmentally friendly method of packaging can be found.”

“We’ve been starting our day with Malabar Monsooned over last few months, reassuringly rich and mellow, with welcome interludes from Continental blend, an old favourite and the slightly more acidic Santiago blend. Have tried a dark roast kibo to keep me on my toes, though don’t feel that I quite have the measure of it.”
