“Had a lovely stay in Seaham. Great location near the beach. The property was spacious and comfortable. Only recommendation is that a key fob for the parking at the back is left with the tenants. Would be happy to return to this property.”

“We had an amazing stay in Whitby at 4 The Mount - perfectly located with the huge bonus of private parking, the spacious holiday home had everything we needed for a brilliant family time away. Just a stone’s throw from the Whalebone Arch, the seafront, the swing bridge and Skinner Street, we were never short of things to do. And after a busy day, it was lovely to come back to the comfy lounge area of 4 The Mount or to sit around the table in the huge kitchen/diner. The holiday home having a washer and dryer was a huge bonus for us due to having younger children who adore exploring and therefore can get quite muddy…! The only improvement we would suggest is that, upon arrival, a number of pots, cutlery and crockery were not clean. Cups/mugs had coffee stains, cutlery had dried food and plates/glasses had residue on them; it felt like they had been rinsed as opposed to being washed, which is odd as there is a dishwasher in the kitchen. If it wasn’t for this, we would undoubtedly be giving 4 The Mount top marks.”

“The host contacted me to say they had found my rings they said my friend could pick them up she went no one was there they then asked me to pay for postage I did 3 weeks ago and no one has got back to me don’t stay with this host they have stole my sentimental rings”

“BEWARE SCAM. Host has hidden conditions to pay compulsory insurance of £25 or £200 deposit. This is normally not allowed with AirBnB but they avoid this by setting up an external website. AVOID NOT BE RIPPED OFF. Also property itself is not particularly brilliant. It located on a side street which is infested by sea gull and pigeons so expect no sleep and bring an umbrella for entering the property.”

“Enjoyed staying in the lovely apartment. Very close to the centre of Whitby. Would stay again. We did take our two dogs who were well behaved considering they don’t stay away very much. The dogs did bark at passers-by through the night as it is close to the main rd so we may leave them at home next time!”

“Fantastic apartment in a absolutely fantastic place. Close to everything you need, shops, pubs, cafes, butchers, hairdressers, bakers, fish and chip shops, post office, walking distance to the Beach which we did and was fantastic. The apartment itself has everything and more you need, comfortable beds, nice and bright rooms, and even thought the apartment is above a pub it did not bother us one bit. We are definitely going to be staying here again.”

“Great location at Falkner St 20.2, perfect for even bigger families with nearly every amenity, green approach, clean and very well resourced, most of the city attractions within walking distance, lovely and helpful staff esp. with luggage storage and swift responses to any inquiries. Highly recommended!”

“Lovely place close to amenities. Vey easy to find and plain sailing check inn. A couple of downsides. Very noisy with the wind through the windows, ie whistling specially the patio doors. I do think £25 non refundable breakage is very steep, nothing was broken and I will not get this back at least have a refundable deposit.”

“Stayed at Host + Stay (sevenstays) Aparthotel...Fleet st.Liverpool...its.in a great location ..walking distance to The Cavern Club/Bars/Resteraunts...lovely modern apartment...shower/kitchen..Katrina on the desk was lovely so helpful...easy to book in + get keys.+ used their baggage storage facility round the corner for last day as our train wasnt till late afternoon + Mel sorted this ..would definately use them again”

“We stayed at Iburn House as a group of 7 people. We have stayed in the houses before so knew what to expect. As usual very high standard of living accommodation. We were disappointed that there was not enough cutlery or tableware for all of us to be able to eat with and although this was not detrimental to the stay it would have been nice to have more. The fan was not working in the main bathroom but this was sorted rapidly. It says in another review that the storage in the kitchen is minimal, again not crucial but something to be aware of if you are bringing lots of groceries. We had ours delivered and there wasn’t a lot of space. We also took our dog and to keep the inside of the house clean it would have been nice to have a boot area and hose pipe outside so that both animals and dogs can be washed prior to entering the house. Overall a great space to stay and venture out from. We will hopefully be back soon.”

“Great company, very easy to book through and always in touch to thoroughly explain check in/out process. Guide of 'things to do', 'restaurants', etc was really helpful. House was wonderful, it has everything you need and more. Very comfortable with great views. Will definitely book again.”

“Lovely get away from the world at No3 rose cottage. Lovely cottage away from the hustle and bustle . Easy to get to lots of attractions and love the hidden bird hide down the road. Only wish they had a real fire in the huge fireplace. Host and stay where on hand if needed anything which i didnt . will be back thanks”

“We stayed at the Sea Salt Apartment in Whitby. The apartment itself was beautiful and very comfortable, extremely clean and in a great location. However the stairs up to the apartment were lethal - my golden retriever got his nail stuck in there and it ripped it off which caused issues throughout the rest of the stay. To then top it off my Mums German shepherd did the exact same! Unfortunately because of this we would not book the apartment again.”

“Lovely home in a great location just a short stroll from the beach. It is beautifully designed and decorated and fully equipped with all you need. All instructions were excellent too”

“Stayed in one of their properties and it was one of the very worst vacations I have ever had. Trying to have a shower and an extremely angry grumpy farmer came to the door asking us to move our car! Then the worst, dangerous worse nightmare of the extractor falling and hitting the top of the glass cooker top. The grit and dust went into our eyes and there was absolutely nothing we could do! They did not care that it could have actually killed someone with how it fell! I felt they did not see the gravity of the situation and to this day are not accepting full responsibility for the disastrous holiday we had looked forward to having. My husband phoned the company and we were left holding despite it being an emergency! Knowing what I know about the company now I would never book even a rabbit hutch with them now!”

“We stayed at host and stay Fleet Street Liverpool recently . We found the apartment clean , at a great location. We did not mind the noise from street , beds very comfortable . We had an issue with hot water and was fixed by staff straight away. The only issue we had is I am a wheelchair user and while there is a lift in reception accommodation is not wheelchair friendly. There was a step at front door and another near reception . The shower also was difficult no grab rails or no slip mat . If I was able bodied we would had had no issues with accommodation.”
