We had an amazing stay in Whitby at 4 The Mount - perfectly located with the huge bonus of private parking, the spacious holiday home had everything we needed for a brilliant family time away. Just a stone’s throw from the Whalebone Arch, the seafront, the swing bridge and Skinner Street, we were never short of things to do. And after a busy day, it was lovely to come back to the comfy lounge area of 4 The Mount or to sit around the table in the huge kitchen/diner. The holiday home having a washer and dryer was a huge bonus for us due to having younger children who adore exploring and therefore can get quite muddy…! The only improvement we would suggest is that, upon arrival, a number of pots, cutlery and crockery were not clean. Cups/mugs had coffee stains, cutlery had dried food and plates/glasses had residue on them; it felt like they had been rinsed as opposed to being washed, which is odd as there is a dishwasher in the kitchen. If it wasn’t for this, we would undoubtedly be giving 4 The Mount top marks.
