Took my money and didnt tell me the CD I ordered was out of stock until I emailed a week later. They then tried to get me to either swap for a cheaper CD or get store credit. I asked for a refund and had to contact my bank to get it

Here we go againโ€ฆ I ordered a box set from Horizon. Ten days later I messaged them and was told that they donโ€™t have it, never had it. They told me to choose something else or take store credit. I messaged them back to refund my card. The next day again, order something else or take store credit or they will refund my card in thirty days. Thirty days? WTF! Their business model is to bait a customer into purchasing an item that they never had to force them into choosing something else or store credit or to tie up your credit card for thirty days! No business ethics at all! Iโ€™m calling my credit card right now. AVOID HORIZON MUSIC AT ALL COSTS!!!

Do not purchase anything from this company. I placed an order for record store day 2025. It took over a week to arrive. I later find out these werenโ€™t one of their approved partners. After emailing the company to find out when my order was going to be dispatched, the response was very condescending. Horizon Music were taking your money and giving you the impression the records were in stock (when in fact they were not) and then placing an order with another company - very misleading. I also paid for 24 hour postage only for it to take 6 days

Same as others; I ordered an 'in stock' CD, it was only after I chased I found out that the item was not available at all. Was offered store credit, I asked for a refund, was told 14 days, same as everybody else. This is unacceptable; I therefore, organised a chargeback by contacting my credit card provider. Possibly not a scam but I can see why some would see it as such. It was a time consuming and frustrating experience, that I'm not going to repeat. Lesson learned.

My son spent ยฃ84.00 for some vinyls paid for 48 hour delivery no communication, 5 days later. Preparing shipment, no number to call. Absolutely shocking.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT PART WITH ANY MONEY. THIS COMPANY ADVERTISES STOCK THEY DO NOT HAVE AND WILL NOT RETURN YOUR MONEY.

Scammers. Ordered a Vinyl and paid ยฃ6.50 for next day delivery. 10 days had passed and no delivery. Contacted them and they said it was out of stock, even thought they advertised the item in stock. Refuse to give a refund, offered a replacement (where I had to pay more on top) or instore credit. Will be contacting my bank as this is unacceptable.

Advertising a record that is out of stock. Bought start of Feb and been told to wait 14 days for refund and still not received anything. God knows how they're still allowed to operate.

Ordered a record online in September 2024, then told it was not in stock, and then they refused to refund my money. Finally agreed to refund after a back and forth and then never refunded it 3 months later. Now been told it's too late to refund it!! Absolute criminal operation. BEWARE

Ordered in good faith. Was asked to โ€œremindโ€ them about the order. No updates. No response. Then when I asked for a refund, they ignored then asked if I wanted store credit. They then told me it would be 14 days until they would start the refund process. Chased multiple times after the 14 days. Eventually did receive the refund. Vile company. Scammers!!

I also made the fatal mistake of ordering from Horizon Music in early Jan 2025. I received no communication that any order had ever been shipped. When I contacted them they seemed rather keen to fob me off with a credit note given they never had the item in stock in the first place. I immediately asked for a refund and they ignored that request. I had to email them back again and then I got the standard boiler plate reply they send everyone where they say it will take 14 days to issue a refund. I'm still waiting.

Placed an order in August for an item that appeared to be in stock. When it didn't arrive, I contacted them to be told that it was on order with the supplier. After a few months of waiting with no updates, I started requesting a refund. At this point they stopped responding to my emails. After finally managing to get a response from them, they are now saying that I can't have a refund, only a store credit. Looking through other reviews here, it seems many others have had a similar experience. Avoid this store.

Terrible. Ordered two vinyls last month. Sent me a tracking number which turned out to be fake. It's only ยฃ30 but how many others like me had ยฃ30 ripped off of them. Lesson learned lol

The dense couple Neil Monteiro and Carolyn Colaco have been ripping music customers off for years. How they still manage to operate is just mind-boggling!? No reply to emails, dead (fake?) phone line and a huge amount of spam begging you to buy their non-existent products. I hope BBC do an undercover investigation on them - or C4 Dispatches. It would be good to see some karma in action.
