Very efficient booking system and user friendly website. Helpful staff when I needed to rearrange my booking. The Surveyor was careful and thorough in his inspection and my report arrived a few days later.

The employee who was originally arranged was sick and could not arrive on the same day, but the company in your place quickly arranged another employee to come. There are only a few imperfections, so I wasted my two mornings. In the end, I also gave it to me A discount is rewarded.

The staff was very kind, explained everything with patience and checked the entire house very well. Things that we are impossible to spot. They provide a list of the problems for us and for developer to make sure we both checks all snags.

HomeSnag is a great service, as first time 'new build' buyers we were wary of the horror stories reported through this industry. This brief review is based on the initial visit, we are expecting the follow ups in due course. HomSnag spend reasonable time internally and externally inspecting the property for issues which may not be obvious or easy to spot for the general consumer, especially when you're excited by the prospect of moving in to your brand new home. The report is clear and easy to understand and provides a solid start to ensure your new home is as you would expect it to be. In my opinion it could only be improved further by providing an editable version so that new issues or updates can be easily recorded. I wrote the report out in to an Excel spreadsheet so that I could further add to it and track the issues.

I was very pleased with the whole service. George has done a brilliant job and has got a great eye for detail. This has provided me with reassurance that the new property i moved into has been done to a great standard and according to NHBC. I have already recommended HomeSnag to my manager, who will potentially be in touch towards the end of the month for a property inspection.

The surveyor was on time and got on with his work strait away, he was efficient and thorough. The report came through quite quickly with plenty of photos to explain the snags.

Clear and easy website with simple booking process. The surveyor came on time and was very knowledgeable. The report picked up things we as non builders/no construction background would not necessarily of spotted and so has allowed us to get these rectified straight away. They would not of caused immediate problems so we may well of not noticed but then years down line when issues arose it would of been much harder to identify builders as responsible

Overall an impressive service. Best used before completion as ammunition to sort snags before moving in (and believe me, there will be a lot of snags found). Inspector came to site and despite poor weather, gave a thorough external inspection. Came inside, and like a ninja (where spirit levels were his swords) attacked the house and found snag after snag after snag. My only snag about the inspection would be more attention to detail required. Inspector found a few NHBC violations but upon querying with the builder, were found not appropriate for our property. To conclude, (from experience) the quality of new builds now are far worse than ten years ago, spend money and get a survey done before completion.

The inspector was punctual, polite, and comprehensive. He explained the snags well and had good advice for new homeowners! Really good overall. Would use again.
