Allowed me to purchase something that was listed as being in stock, only to email me about 4 hours later to say that it actually wasn’t in stock and that they have cancelled my order. Incompetent at the most basic level of business.

Not impressed! Webpage and the way they handle orders needs to be updated and reviewed, as it’s not working as it should be. Bought an item, they took the money out of my account and then all of a sudden the item I purchased is out of stock. They offer me another item, and as I’m agreeing to that, they tell me it’s out of stock as well. I ask for a refund that took 5 days to get to me. Polite enough staff, but I spoke to too many different people to try and sort my order out. Not in a hurry to shop again!

I called Home AV Direct to confirm if they had stock of the Bose 700 soundbar and 700 subwoofer which they confirmed they did and was ready for dispatch with next day delivery. I placed the order immediately however the order did not arrive the next day. I contacted Home AV to be informed that there was an issue with the DPD delivery and that I should expect the delivery the next day. So 2 days on no delivery arrives again. I call to cancel the order and request a refund to be informed that part of the delivery has been dispatched (soundbar) but no subwoofer and should have the subwoofer after 9th April. Needless to say I laughed at this outfit and informed them I will not accept delivery of part items and to provide me a refund. Refund given and the Bose purchased from another company.

We're sorry that you didn't see this however it is made clear that in-ear style headphones are excluded from our returns policy due to health and hygiene reasons and there is a link to this page on every page of our website to ensure that we are transparent with our customers. Product had the wrong plugs in it. Box had clearly been opened before by someone. It had 2 European plugs. Took several days to send the correct plug.

They provided inadequate information about both important aspects of the product and their returns policy. I would not have purchased from them if they had prominently and honestly advertised their returns policy. Please be aware there are certain (expensive) items like earphones where returns are not accepted. Home AV Direct have a resoinsility to make that clearer in the initial transaction.

I don’t have anything delivered to my address,but have a £939.98 billed to my credit card,so why all the money and for what service or goods

Hi, Firstly I’m sorry to hear that you have not received your order. We can confirm that your order was received and shipped on the same day (as advertised on our site). This happened over a month ago, however this is your first communication about a delivery problem. As per our website “If your order is not received within the agreed order time frame, or the tracking indicates a problem with your shipment, please contact us. You must do this within 7 days of the shipment.” Despite this, we are still happy to try and resolve your problem. I have reported an issue with Audeze Mobius I purchased by sending an email to the company. I have still not received a reply. My unit is not working properly. I am not happy with the service.

I placed an order for an expensive DAB radio. I received an email later the same day informing me that my payment had been received and that the radio had been dispatched... The next day I received another email stating that it hadn't been dispatched as it wasn't actually in stock despite showing to the contrary on the website. Extremely poor.

After a month & 4 attempts I still haven’t got the right charger for my speaker. This is the worst customer service I have ever received on line. It’s been hopeless.

Ignorant personnel who don’t know even to write/spell name and family name correctly on parcel causing that notification about delivery didn’t passed trough. Parcel were returned back. Last but not least, I’ve paid for new item and you sold me the second hand ones. Very pathetic.

Please accept out sincerest apologies for the miss-spelling of your name. It was an innocent mistake that was not done out of malice. This is NOT the reason you did not receive the notification from DPD, as previously explained to you. We cannot be held responsible for mistakes that we did not make and that are out of our control. You ordered and paid for an OPEN BOX item so this is why you received an OPEN BOX product. We have emailed you instructions on how to return your item back to us if you are unhappy with what you ordered.
