“Your website seems to flag up home price trends on a monthly basis more that what estate agents and the media report. Thus, property prices have actually started to fall in August and September. The way leading estate agents announce latest trends (ie. comparing August 2021 with the figures for August 2020) presents a misleading picture in that the public will still think that prices are rising. They are on an annualised basis, but this does not take into account the most recent figures which could be a more realistic indication of what is to come. Home buyers deserve to be treated fairly and not have the wool pulled over their eyes by people who use every devious trick to simply "flag up the market" for personal gain..”
