An issue came up via my house sale, and the friendly voice via the help line, was extremely helpful & very informative. HOA gave immediate advice on the telephone and further advice by e-mail once they had considered my situation in detail. They have since given me good advice on Lease extensions. “This is a great organisation providing lots of really useful information and advice. We were already members but were delighted to meet the founder and some of her team recently at the Ideal Home Show in London, and we had a very helpful discussion about our current property sale. We’re still at the preliminary stages of our transaction and they have since helped us with our estate agency agreement, giving us the confidence to negotiate from a sole selling rights to a sole agency basis, and to successfully challenge some of the standard terms and conditions. We’re sure we will call on them again as things proceed, but already we can’t recommend them highly enough!”

“HomeOwners Alliance has been of great help! You can find so much useful information on their website and there is a great community here to help answer your questions. Purchasing a home can be very stressful but I really feel supported here. HOA can be a money saver too. I got my conveyance quote through HOA which is cheaper than going to the conveyors directly and the conveyors are constrained by HOA that they cannot bill more than what they have quoted. The conveyance discount I got was almost the amount I paid for the membership (the discount was not as big as HOA advertised, but it depends on how high your quote is). After becoming a member, I have access to the HOA helpline which is friendly, helpful, and personal. Naomi in particular is a star!”

“HOA were a great support in our purchase of a home for our old age. As it is almost 40 years since we moved into our present home, there was much that is new, and using HOA gave us a good source of information about all the steps of the purchase, access to an excellent choice of surveyors and solicitors, and now we are moving to using their contacts for home insurance, too. It has been really good to know that there is someone on your side. The surveyor and solicitor recommended by the estate agent handling the sale would have cost us at least £1000 more than the ones we ultimately chose, who gave us first-rate service. Well worth the membership charge!”
