“Carrentals web site is not good, because while it finds the cheapest car (maybe, who knows), once you select a company it is extrememly difficult to see reviews of that comnpany. Also the web site needs to be less cluttered and less geared to selling extras.
Easirent (as in not very easy) is not easy to find at Gatwick. The booking email has in small print - look under the Hilton Hotel - but all other companies are in a big pool with big signs saying ALL car rentals this way.. except Easirent isn't that way.
They would not accept my visa card as I didn't have a PIN number - but PIN numbers are not required in more honest countries such as mine, so I could not use it, maing the whole rental very expensive.
Overall, it is probably better to use a company direct as in Herz.com or Avis.com rather than these web search companies.
And finally, there are 7.2 billion people on the planet, increasing by 220,000 every day... +750million every decade .. and most of them want to live in England. People are cheap. Really cheap. And disposable. And flexible. Much cheaper than computers. Use people. Have people at the end of a phone, not a computer. Much easier.”

I had an emergency during my hire period and had to drive a lot further than intenteded and the charge was an extra .15 cents per km plus, which did seriously add up. When I hired a car in the USA the mileage was unlimited.”
