“Lovely blinds but the pulls I ordered and paid for weren’t included.”

“The man who came out to see me was very good 🙂 the fitter however was not very reliable and he missed the appointment the first time so I had to juggle my day and chase him up he said his computer had gone down so maybe he needs a more uptondate one I'm not sure .He came to fit them and forgot to leave some hooks on one side to tie the strings too ,but did them in the other side . and also instead of one pelmet as I wanted it was divided into three so looks a bit hit and miss and the middle one sticks out a bit , I was not happy either having all the rubbish left behind and having to clean up after and take all the boxes and paper to the tip .”

“As I had already chosen my fabric it was very quick and easy to order the product I wanted. Unfortunately when it came to fitting it wasn't as easy, I wanted the blind flush with the wall but it was fitted upto the window, this was changed quickly but I wasn't planning on repairing or repainting the whole wall and now I need to remove the raw plugs from the plaster and fill it in then paint.”

“I’ve used Hilary’s for 12 yrs. Recently bought high end (£1.5k) curtains which are great. It’s the hanging that was disastrous. 4 return visits, and they’re still coming off rail. Just had call from random sales team. When I said I was unlikely to use them again, she said, OK and was ready to hang up. I asked if she wanted to know why. She replied “not really. If you want to complain, do so to customer services” - and hung up.”

“A bit of a mixed bag for us really. We ordered a number of blinds for our new property and shutters for our kitchen. Still waiting for the shutters so this review is only in relation to the blinds. Really happy with our Roman and Venetian blind. Good quality, good fit and great colour. They were with us quickly and installation was great. Really pleased. We also ordered a perfect fit blind. When ordering I made it clear I was looking for something “black out” as it was for my toddler’s room. The material is black out but the blind itself lets more light in that the £5 temporaries that we had when we moved in! I could have spent far less money and ordered online for a similar product that did the job. We thought that having an advisor to the house to quote and measure would guarantee us with the right products but sadly this hasn’t been the case. I’m disappointed I will now need to buy curtains or a whole new blind to fill the brief I initially had, My Son won’t sleep with the blind as it is. Feel a little as though I’ve wasted my money with this blind specifically and it’s a lot of money to waste.”

“We are very happy with the visual look of our blinds, but very disappointed with the actual operation of them, we paid over a £1000 for your product, expecting state of the art fittings, the blind installation framework is secured using 6 brackets, the blind then slides up or down the inside of the frame, talk about clunk click, the blind catches every bracket,. In this day and age a very poor bracket securing design, 4 blinds 24 clunk clicks. Not happy.”

“Expensive and to be honest the service was just ok the fitter was great tho Constant emails and offering special offers are not helpful when you enquire it’s a just £10 off the original price - wouldn’t use again I don’t think will wait for a local company next time the prices where so Much better but we needed them fast so we had to go with Hilary’s”

“Very disappointed the blind doesn’t do the job I expected in that it is a blackout blind it is too far from the window to give the impact that I was looking for also the cord has been moved and left at an angle which looks ridiculous not happy at all”

“I realised after he left the job wasn’t fully completed. As I found in the rubbish left that he didn’t apply the piece for the chain. Not good especially as I paid so much.”

“No problem with service and the young man who fitted the blinds to my patio door did an excellent job. BUT, I am very disappointed with the colour. I chose what looked like, from the samples, a white background with a pink rose pattern. It turned out to be a pale blue grey pattern which didn't go with my curtains. I am 86 so can't be bothered with the hassle of replacing them. Just be warned when choosing from their samples.”

“There were issues about a delay in getting the large refund due to us and delivery of blinds. Initial visit went well. Customer service agents were polite but action in relation to refund and getting delivery sorted was slow and required numerous calls from me. Not likely to use again. Sorry.”

“The service of measuring up and then fitting the blind was very good. I would like to point out that I am extremely disappointed that the person who delivered and fitted the blind drove his van over my father's garden with flowers when entering the driveway. The driveway is around 20 feet wide and this was pretty careless.”

“Initially had blinds fitted excellently at fantastic price. Then on requiring further blinds went back to Hillary’s for blinds fitted extremely poorly by different fitter much more expensive. Then after pushing greatly for further fit Scott from Burnley redeemed Hillary’s with fantastic fit and excellent Service. Thank you Scott! A credit to the company who reacted poorly to our complaint. Well done Scott and best wishes to you”
