“I ordered a Christmas tree and the courier they used (DX) was awful. There were two failed delivery attempts, both due to the courier because they didn’t actually attempt to deliver the item (I have read similar reviews from other people on Trustpilot). Luckily I received it on the third attempt. Highway Garden Centre didn’t provide much tracking information themselves, it was all down to the courier. The tree is lovely, especially for the reasonable price, but it didn’t come with a box, it was just wrapped in bubble wrap and black bin bag-type plastic. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from Highway if they continue to use DX as their courier.”

“Ordered water softener x3 25kg bags which we always purchase from you. My husband has had major heart surgery so was unable to lift these on the trolley and I tried however with difficulty as they are very heavy. A gentleman working for you was close by but did not engage until I had to ask him to help which I thought was rather frustrating as he was just standing around. I did thank him when he helped but that was because I had to explain my husband could not lift currently due to his operation. Whether he was able to or not it would have been nice from a customer experience to have the offer instead of me trying and he could then see how difficult it was then took action. Also fortunately there were sufficient items of stock but normally they are put away and its collected so we know we have the items as already paid up front. Another chap was purchasing 6 so hence it would have looked rather stupid if there was nothing available after he purchased these online. A young girl then went to the stock room apparently to check if all ours were put away and came back and said no therefore we just took off the current pile and the same with the other gentleman.”

“The price was very good, £49 instead of £86 on Hotter website. However the shoes were clearly returns and had been worn, with slight scuff marks on them. I guess you get what you pay for.”

“Ordered A swag, delivery was good, and well packed. The swag was not as full round the centre as I would have liked (quite short on the points.) So I have had to buy a short Garland of the same colour to thicken it up. recommend buy to garlands and put together for a better look.”

“After booking online to take our 3 yr old Grandson to see father Xmas at highway nursery he was disappointed to receive the identical present from him as he got last year (Finding Dory jigsaw puzzle), afterwards we had tea and cake in the coffee shop and he said why did Father Xmas give me the same present as last year he should know he gave it to me last year!! Sums it up by a 3yr old, some different gifts each year would be better bearing in mind these days it’s not cheap to see the big man!!! Come on highways we are hoping for better next year!!”

“Late entry to the visit with Santa. Was supposed to be 10:30 but didn’t get in until 10:40. The “elf” came out still doing up her outfit and all felt a little bit like she was going through the motions. Bit disappointing to be honest”
