“Both The table top and cover had been manufactured wrongly. No one answers phone and took 4 days to call me from email fault”

“Lack of communication re my order. When I phoned customer services at the store to enquire when I could collect my order the person I spoke to cut off my phone call twice and then could not help me but after me having to ask her to look into the order she said she would try and find out and would call me back. Eventually she phoned me but only let the phone ring a few times before she hung up.The shop number was shown on my phone so I called her back and was told my order was there. After picking my order up I received a message some time later to tell me it was available for collection! The lack of decent customer service was such that I will never order again. No one seemed to know or care if I was having a problem.”

“Ordered a garden bench 24th March, opted for local delivery less than 10 miles from the store at a cost of £25.. Charged immediately for complete transaction and got a message I would be contacted shortly. After five days I didn’t hear anything so I called up, I have no idea what happened for them to take so long . They told me earliest delivery date was 10th April , I asked if there was anything they could do earlier and they offered 6th April. So, delivery tomorrow , fingers crossed.”

“Sadly have to say poor as was. Placed order and received confirmation which said would get another email when ready for collection. So far so good. That was 20th. 6 days later I get an email requesting a review but still not received notification of being ready for collection!! Call store and they struggle to find order as name and order number not together but eventually find and advise been ready since 21st. Go to collect and not found on system at all. Eventually after showing order confirmation email get passed the item I had ordered but they had to take off shelf. Staff were very helpful but am afraid the click and collect system needs a bit of tweaking.”

“I purchase 500 ml of SBK. It arrived on time however when I came to use it the valve in the measuring chamber was faulty. I had to drain it all into another container and find a measuring devise before I could use it”

“I ordered a swimming pool, and the service from the warehouse was dreadful, couldn't talk to anyone to get details of when it might arrive etc. Money taken immediately. Ended up going through the store and then manager, and when it did arrive, it was the wrong pool. Lots more calls and emails, eventually got the right one. No apologies other than from the store staff (who were great, but limited in how much they were able to help).”
