“Have bought Herb Fed chickens from various farm shop locations across Yorkshire and this was the second Christmas that I bought one of their Turkeys direct. Website and service excellent, product delivered on time. The Turkey cooked really well, remained moist and tender and carved perfectly. It possessed fabulous flavour which myself (and our cat) really enjoyed having several meals out of the bird. I think there is always a preconception about this kind of product being 'expensive' but it represents excellent value compared to mainstream supermarket alternatives being of comparable cost but far better quality, flavour and freshness. I'm personally very proud of how Edward and Emma have promoted and grown their business on the back of the quality and provenance of their products. Cannot recommend Herb Fed highly enough to everyone, just please leave me a bird available for next Christmas! P.S We're not related despite the same surname - this is an independent review :-)”

“Our turkey arrived bang on time. I followed the included instructions for cooking and was very pleased with the result. The meat was moist and succulent. Christmas dinner was superb, cold cuts & trimmings aplenty, Turkey pie etc. Overall, very happy.”

“Amazing turkey. I have had fresh farm Turkey's for over 40 years and this was the best turkey I have ever tasted. It was succulent and moist and the flavour amazing. Can't wait to but my next Christmas turkey from you.”

“Absolutely amazing!! Definitely made our Christmas!! Delivered perfectly on time, absolutely delicious. Very, very happy. Last year we left ourselves to the mercy of the supermarkets and had a crazy scramble. This year, we were perfectly relaxed, and had a delicious meal to boot. Will use again!”

“This high welfare bird was easily the best Turkey in my time.I have cooked Turkey at least 30 times always following Delia's advice. It was an effort to believe in such a short cooking time(just under 3 hrs with90mins resting time).The result was close to perfection. No hesitation in recommending or using your company again. Thank you.”
