“We had a 4kg capon / cockerel for Christmas and it was absolutely delicious. It easily fed 10 with a bit left over. Our only concern was that we had to ring Herb Fed and ask them to chase for information on delivery, which they handled politely and promptly and the bird did arrived on 21st. These days, we shouldn't have had to panic and ring for information. Perhaps Herb Fed will review their delivery service for Christmas 2019.”

“This is the second year that we've had a Herb Fed turkey at Christmas, they are best tasting meat we've ever had ! So succulent & tender with a lovely natural flavour. Another added benefit for us is that we live close to York so the food miles are low.”

“We found Herb Fed four years ago when we were looking for someone to supply a turkey for early December. We have used them for a Christmas bird ever since. The service is excellent, as is the quality of the produce. This year we had a rooster. It was great.”

“A beautiful chicken, full of flavour, moist, hardly any fat. We are glad we decided to change from a turkey. We certainly won't be buying supermarket chickens again there is no comparison. We intend to try the rooster next year. Thank you”
