“We’ve had chicken breasts and thighs, that were delicious, which gave us confidence about our turkey order. Although the price of the turkey was rather expensive, more than we’ve paid in the past, it was worth every penny. It was enjoyed by all.”

“Excellent turkey, delivered on time and in excellent condition - freezer packs still frozen. For many year purchased a Kelly Bronze but this year was probably better. Intend buying other poultry products through the year.”

“Delicious and full of flavour, the Turkey arrived when you said it would. Fed lots of hungry people and then the bones made yummy stock for the best home made soup of the year.”

“A really good quality and tasty turkey. 4 stars instead of 5 because of delivery. When I ordered it clearly stated delivery would be before 12 (and to call if it didn’t). It didn’t arrive in the morning so I called but didn’t get much of response really. I was just told ‘yeah the couriers are just busy, it’ll arrive’. It did, but it meant I waited in all morning for nothing and worrying about whether your turkey is going to be delivered isn’t fun!”

“We sent a rooster to our son.He loved it. We bought one for ourselves locally. It was fab ,better than turkey by a mile. I have no doubt that we will repeat this coming Christmas”

“The Turkey cooked to perfection with the timings given by Herb Fed. I love that I don’t have to faff around with coating the skin with bacon and butter. Simply cook it for 2.5 hours it was plenty of meat for 10 and the meat was so moist and succulent. It’s the second year I have had a herb fed turkey and will continue. I also like that the birds have a good life and rather than being transported to an abattoir they are kept on the farm when it’s time to go.”

“Whilst I could not get any particular herby taste, the bird was well flavoured and succulent. One of the best I have tasted, and, having been brought up on a farm and reared them, that is an excellent accolade. Only minor downside were the cooking times in the leaflet enclosed, which were not long enough for a 17.5 lb bird, but no problem if you are used to turkey cooking.”

“The turkey was excellent - cooking well inside the time suggested and no hint of dryness. It was well packaged, without plastic so the skin was exposed to the air, and the inner box meant we could easily fit it on a fridge shelf without unpacking it. Our only issue which prevented us giving it five stars was the delivery company used. The website and email clearly said delivery would be before 1. Given that the days available for delivery are limited, so i had no choice but to choose a working day, one expects these things to be accurate. However, as I was waiting to go to work I called the delivery company to be told that the the 1.00pm is not guaranteed, that it would most likely arrive 2.30-3.00 and that if I was not in the driver would leave it anyway. I was disinclined to leave my christmas dinner at the mercy of the urban foxes. Please find another courier.”
