“The Kershaw Iridium is quite an impressive everyday knife, perhaps more so when you consider the price. The fit and finish is excellent, and the action super smooth. The knife is equipped with Kershaws Duralock, a cross-bar lock that rivals the Axis lock used by another manufacturer, while the slightly contoured handles are comfortable even after prolonged use. The blade is a classic drop point design constructed from D2 steel which, in some eyes, might count as a negative point against the knife. I’ve other knives made from D2 and don’t mind the bit of maintenance they require. All in all, it’s a great knife at a reasonable price.”

“I had a great experience this week. I wanted to exchange a knife that didn’t quite feel right in my hand and I was lucky enough to be close to Heinnie Haynes base, so I made contact and arranged a visit. It was great to meet Richard, who was a huge help. I got to hear about some exciting plans as well as do the exchange, which was seamless. I am very happy indeed with the exchange. I think I have found a new favourite EDC (uk law compliant always), which I didn’t think was possible. A truly brilliant business to do business with. Thank you”

“I have been holding off buying a ukpk for ages because they are expensive and just didn’t think they looked special enough for the money. Finally took the plunge with this forged carbon handled version. I like it. Feels like a bigger knife than it is. Handle is lovely so much nicer than the lightweight handles. Blade steel - for this money should have been magnate really - but honestly practically there is no difference. One thing that put me off was that is was s30v rather than s35v. Actually on research lots of people prefer s30v. I do too actually now. Have lots of s35v blades. Technically it is supposed to be better than 30 but what people don’t realize is that 35 was made (for Chris Reeves) to be easier to machine as the 30v was too hard on tooling. Interesting isn’t it. Got to say no complains on the s30 seems better than s35v I have on various other. Although would have like magnate really if just for snob factor! As always best customer service from Heinnie as DHL delivery lost first package. Never mind. Royal mail wont deliver knives. For a while I had to go to post office to get verified as 18+ for knife delivery. That really was a pain!”
