Discovered HFB during an online search as my boiler was 20+ years old and ready for replacement. Arranged a survey with HFB. The company surveyor arrived on time and carried out an extensive survey and explained the full work scope. He was very friendly answered all of my questions and obviously very experienced. The quote arrived promptly, detailed and to my satisfaction. The installation crew arrived at the stated time and day and were first class, taking great care to ensure carpets were covered with protection sheets. Unfortunately the boiler did not arrive from a third party to one of the HFB team had a 100+ mile round trip to expedite the equipment. The result was an extended installation time of approximately 4 hours. I also had a complex NEST, combined thermostat and control unit. Unfortunately no one seems to be able to programme the unit to my requirements. It has a built in self programming facility which I have been unable to defeat and HFB do not appear to have anyone experienced enough to resolve the issue with the controller. My overall rating would have been very good but for the boiler delivery delay and the failure of HFB installation staff to program the NEST, controller. The boiler fires up when it wants to and has a mind of its own, and I am still experiencing this anomaly four weeks after final installation. Unfortunately there has been no follow up call from HFB administration to ensure customer satisfaction. But all in all I would recommend HFB and use them again.

Great customer service, we needed a new boiler urgently and had one within days of calling you. Telephone staff and engineers were all fab. Only down side was we hadt to have the engineers out twice to fix leaks.? Still have a small leak from the boiler

It's very convenient for us having not to pay outright for a boiler, the men who did it was very reliable but I gave a good rating because they broke my gutter so it's leaking at the moment. I told the office about it but until now I haven't heard from them.

Very pleased now with the outcome after having problems with the installation. Although very unsure of the procedure now as to communication as there has been nothing said as to what happens if anything goes wrong Regarding aftercare which is also meant to be part of the plan. But on the whole very happy.

Speedy and excellent service for the money. One error on original quote which they honoured so all good. Also condensation outlet is white piping which was fed into my black drain pipe, looks a bit ugly but I will cover myself ?

The Fitters were very polite, friendly, and answered any questions we had, They completed the installation very professionally, and cleaned up after themselves

pleased with installation have tried to contact company since regarding the offer of high street vouchers for installations during january but only get the answerphone which is very disappointing

Very nice people a credit to your company. But the work run over because the boiler took a lot longer to fit and things were rushed some of the radiators need bleeding. The boiler looks fine but there a thing hanging over the side of it could have been placed on top of the boiler everybody who come in said how unsightly it looks. I think you should really look it to making that a lot more presentable. I can bleed the radiators no prob's is the thing hanging over the side of the boiler the man said its the only way he could do it. Still looks horrible.

Overall very good contractors completed the installation in a day and a half. Didn't finish on the 1st day until the boiler was working and we had heat. Also gave us a very good demonstration of how the boiler and thermostat controls work .all in all we are satisfied with the work and would recommend hassle free boilers to friends.

Very happy with the work done at my premises, everything was done on time and as promised, I have had no problems since and the boiler has been installed for nearly a year, I have found a significant saving in my gas bill since having it installed.

The whole experience was handled fairly well when the staff sorted pit who to ring to arrange visits. The installation was professional and tidy. My only concern was that my tenants who recommended that I had solar panels too has not received his referral fee and neither have I.
