“Sadly not what I wanted once I saw it so returning. Wasn't going to be used for riding, just for every day use. Would definitely agree about going up a size. I went up 2 sizes and it was a comfortable fit which I like in a winter coat to be able to get other layers underneath. The hood didn't sit very well on my head, flopping down onto my face.”

“Nice looking, warm, waterproof boots. Sadly after 10 minutes of walking they began rubbing my heels which I’m devastated about as the order process was easy, delivery time was speedy and I was really looking forward to them.”

“This is a lovely coat but as other reviews it is not true to size. I’m an 8 I bought a 12 to allow for a cosy sweater but It is very fitting which doesn’t allow for anything thick underneath. The hood is very deep. It is very good value and lovely and warm even on a freezing cold day.”

“Had my coat 3 days, love it, I'm a 12 but went up a size as advised, fits perfect, I'm 5ft 9 and have long arms but again perfect on them, this coat is really warm, haven't needed a body even at - 1 Great purchase 😃”

“Quick delivery. The coat is great value. Definitely needed 14 although I am usually 10/12. The hood is way too big and droops down to my nose, so not much use.”

“I like the Harry Hall website and much of its content, although there is a fairly limited supply of merchandise for me, in comparison to that for women. I also receive emails promoting products for women that have no relevance for me as a male rider, which is a little alienating - feels like they are not personalised at all. The shop lacks some important general items, too, such as spurs.”

“When buying this product you need to go up two sizes as they come up very small normally I wear a size small, but had to send it back and order a size large as there is no stretch in them. I haven't noticed a difference in pain in my lower back but they are a good base layer to keep you warm!”

“Was happy with the rug though not put on the horse to go out in as waiting to sort out back straps. Apart from that appears to be a good fit! I think I’ll only buy with back straps fitted in future to save the hassle!”
