“On Monday afternoon the love of my life told me about the best Scotch he'd ever had. I went online and found it was discontinued several years ago. A few clicks later and I found it -- one bottle -- at HTFW.com. On Thursday morning it was delivered to me in Portland, Oregon where a flurry of gift-wrapping and card-writing ensued. My beloved opened it last night. The occasion? Nothing special. Just a Thursday. But turns out it was a really great night.”

“Found an 1980's bottling of Blair Athol 8 YO. Dispatched on day of order and delivered early next morning. Great service. Historic note: This whisky was the seventh bottle in the Classic Malts Collection in the 80's. It was dropped from the collection because Bells wouldn't sell the brand to Diagio. To avoid further hostile interest, Bells stopped producing an 8YO and changed to a 10YO.”
