“Delivery was pretty prompt. Communication was great. The range of products was excellent. I bought a chrome door latch and knobs for a bathroom. The product quality is very good although the plate attaching to the door deformed easily when screws were fitted. It’s fine now it’s in place. The door knobs look elegant and the pattern on them adds detail. There were no fitting instructions with the products and that meant guesswork when deciding which screws to use where. I have a chrome ‘washer’ left over which I can’t see how to fit!”

“Very pleased indeed with the mid century solid brass door handle and escutcheon; both excellent quality, carefully wrapped and look superb. The surprise, however, on opening the box was that the internal fitting was proud of the door handle plate so the existing hole had to be routed out for it to fit - not an easy job as the hole first had to be plugged with some dowelling cut to fit so the router would work. Luckily I have a kind neighbour - but it took a long time. If the door handle had been fitted to a new door with no pre-existing hole, it would have been much easier.”

“The handles are great and we were very pleased with those (satin chrome T bar cabinet handles) However the spikes on the back of the handles, to stop the handle rotating when they are screwed in, actually preventing locating them properly and we had to cut those off. The screws were too long for our 15mm thick cupboards so again had to cut them down. Despite that, the handles look good and delivery very quick.”

“I recently purchased a cabinet handle and a pair of hinges. When I placed the order I was promptly contacted to let me know the hinges were out of stock and was offered a replacement or the option to wait for the original hinges to come back in to stock. I chose to wait and the order was subsequently dispatched when promised, with the goods I ordered recieved in excellent condition. I cannot fault handles4 homes in this regard and would not hesitate to deal with them again. I given 4 stars rather than 5 as it would be good if the website reflected current stock levels, so customers know before placing an order if goods are actually available or not.”

“Great service but the letter plate, although it is what I wanted, looks good and is the correct size, it needs a fraction more clearance at the ends to allow it to close flush. Haven’t figured out how to achieve this but I’m keeping because it was a nightmare to find the correct size.”
