“My car wouldn’t start. I didn’t know why. When the mechanic arrived my car was jump started and he told me to get a new battery, then he drove away and for some unknown reason my gear box wouldn’t work. I called back but they said I’d have to pay again. So I’m stuck here in my car waiting for a tow truck from a local garage.”

Hi Andy, we're sorry for any inconvenience caused, upon investigation it appears a customer entered the wrong email address when taking out a policy, this resulted in the email invitation to leave a review being sent to you. “ease of use for purchase, have had this breakdown cover for 4 years and never had to have a breakdown call out, so i think its a bit unfair asking for a review on a purchase that you have never used”
“Website and form easy to complete however the required email to verify account did not arrive resulting in me completing another form and no email again.
Customer service sorted the problem and returned payment and I am now covered. Technical department knew there was a problem with iCloud emails and they should have issued a warning on the webpage.

“I have not been sent my policy. I am getting no response when I attempt to contact Halford, either online or by phone. I sent a request to cancel my breakdown insurance because Holford are ignoring me and they are ignoring that. They took the money immediately from my account, so they can act when they want to, when it's to their advantage, and now today Holford has the audacity to send me an email asking me to review them. I regret totally going to to Holford for my insurance and now it seems I have to get into a battle with them to get my money back.”
