“Great quality dowel at a good price, but unfortunately listed at the wrong diameter.”

Good morning, Thank you for your review, the dowels have a tolerance on 0.4mm so sometimes may not exactly be the diameter that is listed. Kinds regards G&S

“G&S were great for ease ofordering and quality of product. The delivery company, DX, were"no stars". Awful!! They emailed a delivery notification, then didn't turn up, then they emailed another delivery notification two days later and didn't turn up. For both of these I satyed at home, over the lovely recent Easter weekend. Two days ruined!! Then with no notification they turn up with the delivery. Shocking communication process and skills. I'd buy from G&S again, but not if they were going to use DX for the delivery, not in a million years.”

“After some initial issues with my order that where out of G&S control I received my. Everyone at G&S I spoke too was great and they did everything they could to help. Great customer service and delivery. I would recommend them highly.”

“I use G&S timber for all my hard wood needs - mainly Ash. I only buy small quantities and this can be come quite expensive with other suppliers. Not with G&S. Their prices are the best I’ve seen for the quantity I need. The quality is superb. I could not ask for better quality timber. I’ve never seen a knot or a split. Not ever. I could not recommend them enough.”

“I rang G&S to ask if they had the specialist tool I was interested in buying for a friend, as a present. Spoke to a very nice lady and ordered the tool in question via their website. Two days later I received it by post. Very efficient service. I couldn't ask for more!”

Good afternoon Thank you for your review, I have checked your order and can see delivery was attempted on Thursday, however there wasn’t anyone at the address and Dx won’t leave parcels without signatures, so delivery will be attempted on the next working day which will be Tuesday. “I found sapelle skirting timber here when I could not find it anywhere else. The quoted delivery was 10-15 working days but it arrived in 9 days. No problems and the quality of the wood was excellent. If I need wood again, this will be my first port of call.”
