“I'm really impressed with Ģ&S for providing the walnut dowel I needed for a woodworking project I'm undertaking. I initially thought I'd have to attempt to turn some on the lathe I have and didn't fancy spending the time. Instead I decided to search Google for walnut dowel and came across G&S Specialist Timber. They had (have) just what I needed - actually ordered more than needed - at a very reasonable price. Ordered on a Friday evening and delivered in ample time. Highly recommended.”

“I ordered some ash PAR for a new project. When it arrived, the majority of the wood was dark coloured heartwood with lots of shakes. It was totally unsuitable for my project so I contacted G &S Timber, who told me that that was how the timber had arrived, in other words, tough luck! I complained and was finally told to return the timber for a refund - no free shipping like the last time I had a problem. Not very impressed.”

“Had purchased wood turning items from them before. Recently sought a heavy duty bowl gouge and noticed 'sold out" status with many other suppliers. G&S had in stock and offered free shipping above £45. Speedy delivery and good communication re order.”
