“Superbly finished dowel round within 0.015mm. 0.05mm oversize on diameter to provide snug interference fit when pressed home. Well packaged and fast delivery. Just the job.”

“Nice piece of walnut, alas not very accurately machined -- 35mm dowel measures 35.8mm, so fitting into a hole made by a 35mm Forstner bit requires some tedious fettling. Claimed tolerance of +/-0.4mm isn't really very good, and still missed.”

“I have been a customer for a number of years and have purchased most of my carving tools through G&S. Excellent service every time. My only disappointment was the delivery service by Fed EX. Twice they gave a morning delivery and on both occasions they delivered in the afternoon.”

“We have used G & S Timber for a couple of years now. They always supply an which we use to make lamps. Their service is excellent. Orders are usually shipped on the day or next day, with accurate up-to-date shipping. Highly recommended by us.”

“This is a good small business who know the value of good customer service. My email enquiries were answered quite quickly which is good news when you are keen to place an order should the item you are interested in prove to be a good purchase option. The item was despatched fairly quickly and arrived a couple of days later, again not a bad turnaround really for a small company. I would use this company again as they have a good and varied stock of woodworking items and are willing to offer help and advise when requested.”
