“I am a novice wood carver. I was advised on which tool I needed for carving hair and found what I wanted on your site. I have never carved hair (this is only my third attempt at carving) and I have managed to do the job to my satisfaction and the amazement of family. Minor problem with delivery. I received a "sorry we missed you" message with an image. It turned out that the driver had gone to the wrong house/wrong street but they delivered the following day so, nothing spoilt!”

“I've used G&S a few times in past years and thought I'd try them again for a one off item I couldn't finds anywhere else (extra large diameter dowel). They had it in a vast range of timbers and sizes with reasonable delivery charge - just what I needed. Ordered and delivered with 2 days Amazing stockist and great delivery service. “Received in good condition a day early. Dowels all seem to be perfectly round. Pity about the excessive delivery charge at a third more than another company. Perhaps a review of your delivery method would be useful for those of us who don't qualify for 'quantity based' zero charges.”
