“My second pair of walking shoes and purchased because I was so pleased with the first pair. Would have been 5* but there were two things that sort of held me back. 1/ the heels seemed to wear down quite quickly and vibram soles usually last quite a long time. Having said that it may be that I wore them more and I am a little heavy on my feet so it might be a problem for me. 2/ I have very broad feet and it would be great if Grisport made a walking shoe that was broad fitting. That’s not really a criticism just an observation.”

“Arrived promptly with the bonus lucky dip of socks (very good quality), hat and insoles. Boots are a good design with lots of support, has been mentioned in other reviews laces could be longer to enable double knot. Slightly tight on the bridge of the right foot but seem to be wearing in. All in all a good purchase.”

“Grispoert are excellent but their hawk lowland trek boots with vibram sole slip badly on wet and ice surfaces. Cheaper boots without vibram sole have much better grip”

“good company to deal with, great walking boots, soft leather, light weight but tough and nice looking. not so keen of the walking shoes which have a slightly odd size and are slack healed, scruntch up when tightened due to have a foot box with too much volumn for the shoe size - like a poor copy of Italian made Loamers which I buy in the Lake District.”

“Pleased with the Exmoor shoes so far. They are very comfortable for short- and mid-distance walks. Delivery was delayed - presumably due to Christmas/COVID-19. The website promised all sorts of ‘freebies’ when you spend £50+ but these weren’t sent. Wouldn’t have cared normally but it’s annoying to be offered something which then doesn’t materialise.”

“Well after some initial hesitation - I had never heard of Grisport - and a little research I decided on a pair of walking boots from the extensive Grisport range. Once ordered these arrived promptly and initial trial fitting indoors seemed good. Have now done 4 short walks 6- 8 Km and all good except for rubbing between ankle bone and heel on outside of foot. Seems to be the internal seam, this is easing, so should be good. I would also like to see a better explanation of each design, the FAB's comparative to other designs & how to choose one over the other.”

“Second purchase in about six months, and third pair of boots from Grisport. Very good service and products. My only (very) small issue was not receiving my freebie walking pack or even some (excellent) socks with the last two purchases. Perhaps this is down to the postal problems during pandemic conditions. I am still breaking in my recent shoes, but they seem great as usual. Well made, robust, and reliable; and great value. My first pair of Aviators is going strong after three years of almost daily wear.”

“I bought these Saracen boots because I couldn't get a pair of Lady Glide in my size. They seem very similar and so far, so good with fit. I've worn them at home and for a half hour walk on pavements. I love my Lady Glides and these seem like they will be the right replacement.”

“This is my 4th pair of Grisport walking shoes. I've always has the Dartmoor in the past and my new purchase is the Magma Low. I like Grisport for the width. Although I have not yet been walking in the new pair, as they were purchased for dryer times, I have tried them on and they seem very comfortable with plenty of the width I need.”

“Very pleased with the service of the company. Rang up to place a order. 3days later the boots arrived. They fit well,and nice for a few free items in the box. Will order again in 2021,or recommend the company to other people.”
