“Good solid greenhouse, everything was there for assembly but the instructions were very vague, took a few attempts to get it right but happy with the end result.”

“Greenhouse is great delivery was not so great took ages to get delivered then they delivered to the wrong house and I was swore at by the delivery driver would definitely recommend the product though”

After reviewing the delivery logs, we can confirm the greenhouse was delivered to the correct address, and the driver attempted to call several times. We also reached out ourselves to ensure everything was received properly. We have no record of any complaints about an incorrect product being delivered though, but we absolutely take your concerns seriously. We will pass your comments on to the delivery company so they can look into this further — no customer should ever feel spoken to disrespectfully. “Ordered a Vitavia Greenhouse with delivery of 1 to 6 weeks. No problem ordering. Received confirmation from Greenhouse Stores immediately. Then the wait began as we heard noting from Vitavia. We called Greenhouse Stores only to be directed to Vitavia who do not give out phone numbers - everything is done by email. All we wanted was an update on delivery so we could be assured everything was going to plan. Got a standard email saying we will be contacted when the greenhouse was ready for delivery. Eventually, in week 8 we did take delivery of the greenhouse but we got no warning it was coming and could have been away for the weekend! WHile none of this is done by Greenhouse Stores, they could have been more proactive on behalf of their customers by taking a phonecall or by encouraging their supplier to be more responsive. The greenhouse itself is great. The one piece of broken glass was exchanged quickly.”

“Good quality growhouse (instructions are somewhat challenging but I'm sure they could put coloured dots or arrow heads on components to guide as to which way up or around they should go). Did have a build problem and in all fairness they requested photos and resolved the issue on line. Really pleased with the finished result. I've bolted mine on to an old hot trolley and now have a mobile greenhouse. Pictures below.”

“The green house came on time. Took our time doing the assembly. Here are some improvements I would Personally recommend to help future clients. I would prefer a stronger bottom framework to make it easier to keep Square. instructions for the fitting the seals around the glass could be clearer.”

A stronger bottom framework is exactly why we recommend using the Vitavia base plinth with this model — it provides a rigid, level platform that keeps the greenhouse perfectly square during assembly. Without the plinth, the frame relies entirely on the customer’s own foundation, which can make squaring more difficult. Your note about the glazing seal instructions is also helpful, and we’ll pass that on to the manufacturer for future improvements. “Generally good experience building the greenhouse except for fixing the plastic glazing as it lacked the same level of rigidity as glass. I have recently purchased a polycarbonate Marlon ST material by Brett Martin on another project which offers better rigidity.”

The flexibility you noticed is the natural trade‑off with polycarbonate — it’s never going to have the same rigidity as glass, even though it offers great impact resistance and insulation. “The customer services were good when I rang with a few questions, the delivery was well organised and on time, although it may be helpful to explain how all the components are packaged as I needed help to unpack, not having the correct tools or even strength to do it myself. The installers arrived on time, but were very grumpy, especially the older one, and did not engage with me, other than to say straight away that it would cost me extra to have the staging erected, although I ordered it at the same time as the greenhouse. Perhaps this should be clearer on ordering, if this is indeed the case. I wanted the greenhouse positioning in a corner, with there being walls on 2 sides, and no space in the corner. It was not until this was bolted into this position that I was told that the capping in the corner could not, or wasn't put on. This makes the rain-collecting apparatus on this side redundant as there is nothing stopping the rain dripping out into the corner, and there is no way of rectifying this now. The older installer then told me that he couldn't place the corner capping on the accessible corner on the other side of the greenhouseeither, but then did it. At least I have one side where I can collect rainwater. The younger installer then engaged with me and explained some things. I am happy with my greenhouse and the ordering process, but for the money it cost to have it installed, I would have expected a better service”

“The assembly instructions were not entirely clear, particularly on double door assembly. I seem to have ended with some spare bits.......... but it looks great. Very pleased with speedy replacement of one pane of glass which had disintegrated.”
