Down To Earth is a multi-disciplined company offering specialist arboricultural contracting and consultancy throughout Kent and South East London.

Established in 1980 by Glenn Morris, and as one of the pioneering companies helping to establish the Arboricultural Association approved contractor scheme, we’ve grown into the largest tree contracting company in Kent securing an impressive array of clients in both the domestic and commercial sectors.

The successful merger with Greencut Horticulture in 2016 resulted in the creation of a large company that not only has the infrastructure to deal with any size job, but the modern back office systems that allow us to focus on a customer-centric model.

“The company felled a close packed group of 12 trees in a very awkward site(a small area surrounded by water) quickly, efficiently and left the site in a very good order. They took care to minimize damage to the access route and the immediate surrounding area. They also took care to preserve a colony of bees high up in one of the trees and relocated it to a safe site. The company also had on site the right equipment for this difficult job. The actual team were very helpful and courteous and a pleasure to have on this site. The price for the amount of work involved was exceedly good value.”

“You recently trimmed back a large Copper Beech and a Lime Tree in my garden. I just want to say how pleased I've been with the result. I was especially worried about the Copper Beech, it is a magnificent specimen, but to close to the house. A great worry when there is stormy weather. The Tree Surgeons have cut sympathetically to keep shape and retain it's beauty, for which I am most grateful. The bonus has been all the extra light the garden now receives. Thankyou.”

“I have used the services of Down To Earth Trees Ltd on several occasions now to manage the trees in my garden, either pruning to shape or reducing in size. They have also removed and ground the stumps on several conifers that have overgrown too much for the garden. When ever they visit they work in a very efficient safe manner, even hiring platforms to access trees that have great height to them. The work is always carried out quickly and the site left clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend them”
