Down To Earth is a multi-disciplined company offering specialist arboricultural contracting and consultancy throughout Kent and South East London.

Established in 1980 by Glenn Morris, and as one of the pioneering companies helping to establish the Arboricultural Association approved contractor scheme, we’ve grown into the largest tree contracting company in Kent securing an impressive array of clients in both the domestic and commercial sectors.

The successful merger with Greencut Horticulture in 2016 resulted in the creation of a large company that not only has the infrastructure to deal with any size job, but the modern back office systems that allow us to focus on a customer-centric model.

“Down to Earth were brilliant. First time we've used them for tree trimming and shrubs shaping. All 5 were very professional over 2 visits. Checked with us that we were satisfied with their work, which we were! Will definitely use again in the future.”

“They understand what they are doing with different trees, they take care with the final appearance and balance following pruning, always friendly, polite and efficient. Having surveyed on an earlier visit, they check with me first what I want, and confirm afterwards if I am happy with what they have done. I have had them in on several occasions now, different trees, different times of year for appropriate pruning. Would not hesitate to recommend.”

“I have used Down to Earth Trees several times in the past and have always been very pleased with the work carried out. Yesterday,Cameron and Erika came and did a fantastic job in pruning various trees and made an amazing job of clearing everything up. Very friendly, very polite and very professional. “Down to earth reduced my sweet chestnut tree which was very high. They got the planning permission for me as it has a TPO on it. The guys and lady were prompt, very friendly and respectable to my home. They created a tunnel to get the debris through the house without any damage. They lowered the branches, some of which were large and heavy and protected my decking and roof of my shed. They all worked together well and didn’t stop. They cleared up and there was absolutely no mess. They also reduced two trees in our communal car parking area with the same care. I would 100% recommend your company to anyone who needs tree work being done.”

“Down To Earth did a good job on the day, tidied up well after them and were pleasant & courteous to deal with. We got off to a rocky start as the initial booking had to be re-scheduled due to issues at their end for which they apologised and is the reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5, but in the end I was happy with their work”
