“Very expensive, but delivered promptly but product ineffective”

“I bought these expensive sachets for fuchsia gall mite. They did nothing despite cutting the fuchsias back. The mites have chomped through about 20 fuchsias the sachets did nothing to stop them. Upset as the sachets are expensive as were the fuchsias (my favourite plant). Will probably dig up the planted bushes and destroy all the pot plants. Feels like I wasted my money. Mags”

“Ordered 2 packets of ladybird larvae. Should have been 50 in each. When they came the label said 50 + 20 or 30, can't remember. On opening the plastic containers I could only find 20-30 total live larvae amongst the sawdust. I put them on the affected plants. Never to be seen again. Total waste of time and money.”

“Purchased Fuchsia Gall Mite Sachets. Didn’t work at all, if anything the infestation is worse. Certainly won’t be wasting my money on these again!!!”

“I ordered and used Amblyseius Andersonii for Fuschia gall mite, and Encarsia for whitefly, both in April, (so in good time), both have proved completely ineffective - very disappointed. I started early enough in the season with little or no evidence of the pests but over time, as usual, the whitefly multiplied to monster proportions and the gall mite returned. I also tried another supplier who use Koppert rather than BioLine for the Encarsia but it was the same. In total I purchased 14 weeks subscription but have now gone back to spraying for whitefly, which after 3-4 weeks has returned control from a disaster situation. Waste of money.”

“I've never had a worse experience with an online company. the address on my order was wrong so it got returned to sender. I Attempted to email with enquiries as to the next steps and never heard back. Currently having to go through PayPal for a refund.”

“Ordered encarsia to be delivered over 4 weeks instead they all got delivered in a week and a half so a pretty disorganised delivery programme clearly. Also had expected dispatch within 3 days of ordering and instead it took a week and half meaning aphidius had hatched in transit and most where dead upon arrival. Probably won't order from you again”

“I bought some Sulphur Lawn Worm Cast Suppressant and was advised of the website by a friend but the product was ineffective and when I called in to discuss, the supplier was not helpful and my gardener suggested it could have been an old or faulty batch of Sulphur Lawn Worm Cast Suppressant which is why it did not work. I would expect a refund or the supplier to reissue a new batch. Still waiting and hopeful that I will be sent the replacement Sulphur Lawn Worm Cast Suppressant. Thanks”

“The Red spider mite carried on and was not affected by the powder shaken over the cucumber leaves at all. I put the powder on immediately I received it. Perhaps it does not work once the mite has got control over the plant which appeared during the fortnight we were away on holiday.”

“I purchased ladybird larvae and followed instructions, I complained twice that I was not happy and asked for re-fund and was told they would take 5 weeks to develop. NOT VERY HAPPY AT ALL DID NOT SEE 1 LADYBIRD.”

“I ordered some wool pellets to keep slugs away from my plants. It didn't work at all, I found a slug sat on top of a big pile of the wool munching away. Despite putting more and more wool around my flowers, they are still being eaten every day.”
