There was a small delay due to huge demand, but your order should have arrived by now. Even more fresh stocks are due in tomorrow, so we should have them in stock again tomorrow (Tuesday 14th March). Apologies for the delay. Jonathan @ Green Gardener

“I love Green Gardner - always full of excellent tips and I love all the products. We had a massive scale insect infestation in our greenhouse and the products we used worked a real treat. This time I have gone with the garlic candle and the greenhouse cleaner. Thank you.”

“Arrived in time but there were no instructions in the package, small white paper bags were enclosed, what were they for? There was no oxygen available for the insects so I think some have died, I didn't count the live ones. Obviously because they are just the lava I won't know for a while if they will mature into ladybirds, I have put them on my conservatory plants in the hope that they will eat any nasty bugs which seem to have enjoyed eating my plants over winter, if they do I will report with a more positive rating.”

Thanks for the message and the ladybirds are being dispatched direct from the breeder while order volumes are low (it is very early int he season for ladybirds) but they should have included our instructions, so apologies if they were missing. You did the right thing releasing them onto your plants and they do arrive very hungry and they do sometimes eat each other (hence the dead ones - we include extra and there is loads of oxygen for them), so fingers crossed they have made light work of your pests? “I bought some coir pellets from the Green Gardener and also a Soil Block maker. I have used neither of these methods in seed germination before but I am now pretty much hooked. Early seeds planted in the coir are already sprouting. With the soil block maker getting the right degree of moisture in the compost at first is a matter of trail and error but when you get it right it is really satisfying - a bit like brick making on a smaller scale. So far, so good.”
