“I’ve only done one job found in this website so far but I’ve had no issues. It was quick and easy to apply, straight forward with all the information you need on location, pay, employer, etc. Contacting the employer was really easy too and also the payment for the completed job was very fast on the same day the job was done.”

“I recently used Grafter to find an assistant for some joinery work, ultimately I found an excellent Labourer who was fun to work with. Payment also went through within an hour. I think it is essential to describe the skills you require very clearly to avoid being contacted by a large number of potentials who pull out when they realise what is required.”

“We live in rural Worcestershire and I came across the site and posted a job Saturday evening to start the next day and had almost an instant reply which was brilliant and got the job done !”

“Grafter is a great concept. It does seem to Taylor jobs to requirements reasonably well. And on the one occasion I have completed work through the platform has been seamless. As a web developer I am not 100% keen on the UI. Email notifications include no information as to which job/client is being notified which although not necessary would be nice. And the site does seem to have quite a short user session so constantly logging back in. Especially when tied with the lack of information in the email notifications. An iOS app would be nice. When I originally signed up there was one. Perhaps apples payment model wasn’t viable, if so maybe hook in to browser notifications and persist the users logged in state. There is no clear link of the job to the person you are messaging to UX requires a sharp memory or constant back and forth between jobs and messages.”

“Great site - got responses to the job in minutes of posting it. The site responded to a query I had straight away. One quibble - I don't think it was clear what the charge for using the site was upfront. It was reasonable - but should have been clear upfront.”

“First timer! The grafter I initially chose accepted the job but then withdrew. I re-listed the job (no big deal) and got someone who did a very good job.”

“I had issues with the grafters I hires, 1 was a no show despite accepting the job, and then had the audacity to decline the offer 30 mins before he was to turn up The other was someone who was adverse to work and left site 2 hours before he was to finish as I was called away for a meeting. Both issues I raised with Grafters and they addressed them professionally with the grafters and promptly overall good service”
