“I’d purchased the Makar Cherry gin spritz kit, only to find there was no cocktail Recipe card included in the box. Had to search for the recipe online, which was a bit of a pain. The drinks included were delicious and would buy again as I’m keen to support local businesses. Would have been a five star review if I’d had the recipe card!”
“Ordered the valentines gin box. Delivered very quickly and beautifully packaged. The gin was fantastic and came with all ingredients and garnish to make lovely cocktails. Very impressed with the gin and loved the gift box idea. Will definitely be buying this gin again and look forward to trying other gin/alcohol.”

“Would have been 5 stars but the gift order let it down. It was advertised as being in a gift presentation box but arrived just as separate items in a standard delivery cardboard box. As a valentine gift this was disappointing. The contents were of the standard expected though it was minus the number of garnishes illustrated. Delivery was quick and efficient.”
“Disappointing packaging for a gift that was meant to be special. Difficult to find all the parts of the gift due to polystyrene bits and no recipe card for the cocktail. The picture on the site shows state like packaging not polystyrene..”

“My valentines makar cherry gin box arrived today I2th feb I ordered it on the 10th excellent delivery service. I know some people were saying about the packaging not being very nice as the items were all individually wrapped, down to the very dried orange slices! I would say it was very well packaged but not pretty. Not tasted the cherry gin yet but can't wait to do so. I will be making a cocktail tonight 👍”
“Valentines Gin hamper. Very disappointing presentation. Yes its what is shown on the website and although each individual item was bubble wrapped I didn't think a gift should be just thrown into a tatie cardboard box with some tissue & straw. Shall not be buying from you again.”
“Absolutely fabulous, didn’t realise I was getting full size bottles. Great idea to have a kit at home, both Makar Gin & Malt Riot are delicious and love the names, especially the Malt. Lovely treat during lockdown and will be re-ordering for the summer in the garden.”
