“I am 31 years of age, and over the past ten years I have seen my hairline slowly receeding a thinning. After trying minoxidil and having no result, I started researching fue hair transplant. After much consideration I decided that Gethair had good reviews and positive results. The whole set up and process was very easy. I communicated with Kaan and every step of the way I felt confident I was in good hands. I arrived on Tuesday evening, slightly later than expected. After getting my Visa and making my way through customs I was concerned if the driver would be there. Of course he was and I was greeted by a friendly Turkish man. I was at the main airport in Instanbul, and it was around 45 minutes to the hotel. During the journey, the translator from the medical centre rung the taxi driver, he then passed the phone to me and explained everything that was going to happen the next day, dos and donts etc. It put any queries I had to rest. The day of the procedure was really smooth. I arrived just after 9am, and was greeted by the translator I spoke to the day before. It wasn't long until I met Dr tayfun. A few photos were taken, then he drew a line where he wanted to place the grafts from. I actually wanted my hair line further back, as even as a teenager it always has been high. I showed him pictures from 10 years back, so he readjusted the line which I was much happier with. The procedure started with a shaving my head by 2 friendly nurses. The whole time the translator was there to explain anything. Following that was the anesthetic which can be a little bit paiful, but within 5 minutes any pain was quickly subsided. I guess it depends on your recovery time to how quick the procedure is. I was actually finished just after midday with a 3200 graft procedure which was brilliant. I had some lunch, and then I was given my instructions for that evening. The driver took me back to the hotel. I just relaxed that night, had some dinner through room service. The following morning, I went back to the medical centre for my head wash and bandages removed. Then I was given my post op instructions with all the medication and hair products I needed. I was then taken to the airport for my flight back to the UK. The first 3 days I did experience swelling around my forehead, and a pretty red scalp. By day 6 I was happy to go outside without a hat on as most of the redness and scabbing had dissapeared. By day 14 any signs of the operation have completely dissapeared. It obviously takes a few months to see any real results, but the whole process up until now has been really good, and I would definitely reccomend gethair to anybody looking for a hair transplant.”

“These guys are absolutely phenomenal. From the moment I was picked up, to the moment I was dropped off I couldn't say one bad thing. The hotel was very clean and I was very impressed by the standard of the room. Same applies for the hospital, they put ours (UK) to shame. My operation took over 7 hours and had 3800 follicles implanted, had god knows how many LA jabs in my head and yes they're uncomfortable. Don't quite understand why some people on here complain about being told there wouldn't be any pain, LA is bound to be uncomfortable. As for the procedure itself, if you feel a little bit of pain they're more than happy to put more LA in to numb the area more. They're very accommodating people and although there is a language barrier other than the translator, they do their very best to communicate with you. If you need to take a short break too they're happy to let you. Its been 20 days since my operation and I'm completely amazed by how quickly I've seen results. A little bizarre in fact. 14 days from the op, when the scabbing starts to go, I noticed hair freestanding and anchored without any support from the surrounding scabs. A little overwhelming that now after such a short period of time, I have the hairline that I've always craved. One thing that I'm a tad disappointed with is my crown area; would've loved some more implantation's in this area- seems as though they pack them in on the front region, which I can understand. I'm sure when my hair grows out this area will get coverage. The scabs from the donor area have also gone, however you will experience itchiness. To help the scabbing and to give your head a bit of moisture, I was told by Kaan to use 100% coconut oil and dab gently on to my head- worked a treat. As I'm young I was told there may be a chance of further receding in areas that were okay for now, but I'd absolutely no objection to go back and have further work done. Also a huge mention to Kaan, whom from start to finish has been an unbelievable help. Regardless of how big, small or petty your question is, he'll always get back to. I was never pushed in to purchasing through these guys but he was very reassuring and helped drastically with my company selection. I also met Kaan out in Istanbul on the off chance, a genuinely nice and accommodating guy. Thank you to GetHair for their efforts. I'm looking forward to seeing my hair grow and to feel my confidence come back.”

“It's now been 2 weeks to the day since I returned from Cyprus after receiving FUE treatment with GetHair and I felt ready to now offer a review of their service and treatment. I have suffered from huge confidence issues since I began losing my hair in my early 20s which ultimately led to me wearing a hat everytime I set foot out of the house. I was also suffering from social anxiety in situations where hats were not appropriate, so much so that I would make excuses to avoid these events.... formal gatherings, weddings etc. Having fully researched FUE treatment in the UK and visited many clinics, the procedure was exactly what I wanted and required but the cost implications of having the surgery in UK were huge; £8,000 - £10,000 and beyond. After continuing with my research I found GetHair based in North London but who's surgeon, Dr Tayfun, operates out of Istanbul and Cyprus and for a fraction of the price. My wife and I arranged a meeting with Kaan at their Islington office and from the moment we met him he put my/our concerns at ease, listened, understood and discussed in great detail the options available to me. He then took photographs and sent them to Dr Tayfun who responded the next day with a full prognosis; the amount of grafts required (in my case 3500), the timescale and costs. For the full treatment, hotel and transfers, the procedure cost £2800. The only cost associated outside of this were the flights. We spent a short while longer considering our options and decided to book the procedure in Cyprus. My flight was on the Wednesday and on my arrival in Cyprus I was met at the airport and transferred to a very clean and comfortable hotel where I spent the evening resting and preparing for the next day. On Thursday morning I was again collected and driven to the hospital about 40 minutes away - a very impressive building, very modern and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I met Dr Tayfun who proceeded to prepare me for the procedure, answered my questions and began to mark out my new hairline. I had a quick bite to eat and we began... The only part of the treatment which was a little painful were the injections to numb the scalp area - this wasn't pleasant but neither did they promise otherwise, the nurses were honest about this and it was over in no time. The follicle extraction from the rear of my head lasted a few hours during which time we watched TV and chatted amongst ourselves and with the extremely professional translator they had supplied for me for the rare moments she was needed, otherwise there were no issues at all with the language barrier. Dr Tayfun then proceeded to create the channels across the top of my scalp where the new hair would be placed. After his was completed I was taken to the doctor's office where we had lunch and rested before the final part of the procedure. I had two nurses working to place the grafts into my head, a long and delicate procedure where they encourage you to try and sleep, read, or watch the television. There is a little less talking at this point due to the intricate process but I did manage to sleep which helped pass the time. The overall procedure took just under 10 hours and once they were finished we discussed the medication and care requirements and I was then taken back to the hotel to rest. It was quite an uncomfortable nights sleep - not because of any pain, this was minimal, if any - but because I was so conscious of keeping my head away from the pillow while sleeping upright to help with the swelling. The next day, Friday, I checked out of the hotel and was driven back to the hospital for the aftercare appointment where the nurses who had worked with me the previous day proceeded to give my head a wash and talked me through my care program for the next 2 weeks; when to take medication, to avoid direct sunlight, how to sleep etc. Later that day I returned home and began my recovery process, making sure to follow the instructions meticulously. Over the past two weeks the scabs have disappeared, the swelling has gone and i'm now left with the solid hairline I have coveted for so many years. I have noticed some hair falling out but this is completely normal and will return over the next few months as the hair thickens and follicles oxygenate. My experience with GetHair, with Kaan, With Dr Tayfun and his nurses and with undertaking my treatment in Cyprus in general, has been nothing short of fantastic. I understand there are always variables associated with this procedure and there is still a way to go before I see the true results but in summary the time, care and consideration I have received from GetHair has given me the best opportunity yet to regain my confidence and hopefully throw away those damn hats!!”

“Only 10 weeks on since I had the fue procedure in March, you may have read my previous review. So, I am only 10% into the recovery period and I am seeing amazingly staggering results. In fact, I cannot quite believe what I am seeing on a daily basis every time I look in the mirror! I will ensure you all see a before and after picture early next year when the recovery period of 12 months is over. If anyone out there is hesitating about getting the FUE procedure done, believe me when I say that this is the best thing I have ever done. Put your trust in Gethair and go do it..”

“I had a very positive experience with GetHair. When I decided I would need to do something about my thinning hair I started talking to Kaan, who was very professional, polite and always willing to answer all my questions regarding FUE. He was neither pushy or overly assertive. I booked my procedure without any hesitation. I also had known someone who used GetHair for their FUE and their feedback was also very good. From the moment you get picked up at the airport in Istanbul and get dropped off a few days after to go back to UK you feel confident everything would be done on time and how it should be. The hotel is nice (it's actually only 5 minutes away from the clinic), the drivers are very punctual and the facilities at the clinic are top-notch. The patient coordinator (Julia ) is a very nice person, always helpful and genuinely committed to making sure you get great results from the procedure. She is also very fluent in English, so no need to worry anything would get lost in translation. As I mentioned before, the facilities at the clinic are top-notch - on par with best private clinics in the UK and far better than any NHS hospital I have been to! The procedure itself take 6-7 hours with a break for lunch inbetween. You can relax and watch TV. During the first part of it I was actually asleep! The only moment you feel pain during the procedure is at the very start when you are given an anaesthetic injection into your head. It is bearable and only lasts less than a minute. It definitely helps that the staff at the clinic makes you feel relaxed by throwing a few jokes. I have now been into the healing process for just over a month and am confident of getting great results from my operation. I understand it is a big decision to go abroad for any kind of operation. However, with GetHair the risk is miniamal as these guys are very professional, punctual and are committed to filling your head with hair again :)”

“Gethair were absolutely great from the very first phone call I had with Kaan to the moment I got back home to England after the operation, I Would strongly recommend Gethair to anyone thinking about getting a hair transplant ! I have already recommended Gethair to friends and family. Hotel high STANDARD, food was great at hotel , everyone super friendly at the clinic know language barrier what so ever, very professional ,always on time picking me up from airport to hotel, hotel to clinic and so on. “First i want to thank Mr Kaan personally for his efforts he is honestly a knowledable and wise person. There are two types of people in the world some that are willing to accept their looks and others that want to change them so I'm one of the others that want to change them.. Its that i want to look good because when i look good it makes me feel good when i feel good i make things happen in my life confidence plays a big role in life for Success and yes I'm willing to pay the price no matter what! By the way people that have full hair will never really understand what is feels like to lose your selfhood as you lose your hair. I did my home work and decided to go with Get hair because i new that the surgeon that works with Kaan is a master in what he does he is very known in Istanbul and very qualified also member with ISHRS ASHRS & ESHRS and that is important to know. The price mattered less for me i just wanted some one that has good hands. Left from Israel to Istanbul last week with a little bit of stress driver drove me to the hotel next day 9:00 pick up from hotel to hospital meeting the Dr and his team very nice girls there was no problem communicating spoke very good english like me the doctor was very professional he new exactly what kind of hair i had made the hair line nicely and planned the 3500 grafts then started the hair transplant. It went great and also fast with professional hands there was no pain at all. I was back to the hotel at 18:00 very tired had room service bring me dinner took medication and fell asleep like a baby. Next morning had breakfast pick up to hospital at 12:00 for after care with one hour lesson how to take care of the grafts (very important) from there straight to the airport back to Israel. Its been a few days now after hair transplant and for sure i give you all a update after 6 months!”

“I had my surgery in 2018 and really had not thought about reviewing until now. So I sent pictures over and was told I was getting 3000 grafts and was given a run down of what I was getting done. When I finally got to turkey the surgeon insisted I changed my plan to do something different to cover some parts on the top, but I insisted on my original plan of having more coverage at the front. The hotel I was in and the moving around was really good. I was treated well and the hotel was quality. My issues started on surgery day. My surgeon who had seen me at my consultation performed the first 3-5 minutes of my procedure then left and never came back and random girls completed the rest of the surgery. I had an issue through my surgery when they were adding more anaesthetic via needle and they jabbed my head around 12 times in 10 seconds and I could feel everything and actually went into light shock due to the pain, I thought I was going to pass out. 5 and a half years later and I remember as a core memory. There was no chance I was given 3000 grafts. Fast forward and the grafts didn’t work and maybe 10/15% of the new hair worked, but. It enough to make even a small difference. The main thing was the procedure and it was rushed and not completed by the surgeon and was what I paid for. The jabs during were excruciatingly painful and only stopped when I brought it up before I nearly passed out. After care instructions were clear and I followed to the letter. Didn’t work. Based on my experience I cannot possibly recommend.”

“GetHair were recommended to me by a friend - from the get-go they were very professional and attentive and good contact through all the steps. Kaan gave me an initial consultation and we booked my op once I paid my 500-euro deposit. Flights and cabs and accommodation are included in the price which is great. The hotel we stayed in was very nice. The day of the op its self I was disappointed with one crucial part of the consultation with Dr T which was the drawing of my hair line and giving me realistic expectations of how it would look – this was very disappointing and now I am not happy with the hair-line but have to live with it for now. This part of the of the process was rushed and not explained fully to me even though it was crucial which is a pity because Gethair had everything else worked out perfectly for me. In saying that I am hopeful that the final results will be ok. Dr T and his team were very good this I will say but this crucial part of the process takes from any of the positives on the op day. Would I recommend GetHair – YES!!! But just make sure you cover all the steps in the day of the op with your Dr and do not feel rushed and make sure they show you the hairline before you leave the op room. Best of luck to everyone… I am hoping it will all be worth it. Also, after care info was really good.”

“From making contact through to the after care, everything was great with Get Hair. I went with my girlfriend and made a holiday of it, first visiting the beaches in the south before heading north to Istanbul for the procedure and some sightseeing. Was apprehensive about the procedure during the holiday but I needn't have been, was absolutely fine, it was more a strange sensation for each part of it but not overly painful. Felt a little beaten up and swollen afterwards but from reading other peoples experiences I knew that would be the case and made sure I had a couple of days after to recuperate. After I came back my timeline pretty much followed exactly how I was told it would, hair fell out as expected, then took about 6 months to regrow, first haircut was a definite milestone. Really great experience with Get Hair, so much so I have since referred two of my friends and they have also had great results. Would definitely use them again in the future if I felt I wanted to.”

“From the moment I was considering going ahead with the hair transplant the booking process and information I received from Get Hair were detailed and I felt no pressure from their side, they made me feel comfortable every step of the way. Then from the plane journey, the communication from the clinic was great (via WhatsApp), I was looked after, picked up from the airport in a private taxi and was comfortable going into my procedure the following day. The consultation with Doctor Apaydin was professional, he was experienced and relatable and it all went well with the transplant, the doctor and the nurses were efficient and I felt like I was in good hands throughout and comfortable. The washing info and medication info I received from the clinic afterwards was detailed, as was all communication post op with Get Hair. I had everything I needed. In terms of the results I'm over the moon, it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I would highly recommend Get Hair, which I have already.”

“I had never considered the head transplant for in the past. One of my friends had it done by gethair and he recommended the firm due to the quality of their work and their professionalism and organisation. After speaking to my friend and looking at the information available I decided to take the plunge. Straight away I was impressed by the proactive nature and response of Kaan from gethair. I sent some pictures so the surgeon could analyse if I was suitable. We then discussed the full procedure and I decided to you proceed with the the operation. The quality of the information provided and the timeliness of it was exceptional. So straight from day one I was very impressed. I feel over late Thursday afternoon and was picked up at the the airport by a driver and driven to the hotel and did not have to wait long. The hotel was nice and comfortable and checked in quickly. Prior to the operation I was also contacted by the assistant of Dr. Ilker Apaydın. I was collected from the hotel by taxi and Doctor apaydin assistant early in the morning and driven to the clinic which is only about a five minute drive away. All of the staff in the clinic were very professional and welcoming and the clinic was very clean and tidy. I had my head shaved and the procedure that were to be followed that day were explained to me. Once I was ready doctor apaydin came to see me and explain everything and asked if there are any questions. Then I was taken to the operation room for the procedure. The day passed very quickly and halfway through I was presented with a nice lunch. The staff are always caring and asking if I was ok. I felt ok at the end of the operation and took the opportunity of some fresh air to walk back to the hotel with Leyla from the clinic who escorted me and she was very kind friendly and helpful. I relaxes in the hotel with a meal that evening. I woke up the next day in felt fine and was picked up again early in the morning to be driven back to the clinic for the first hair wash. Again the staff were very friendly and Layla took her time to explain to me the importance of post care after the operation and to explain all the different drugs that are required and the steps to take. All the information as well as being given verbally is nicely presented via email and also in a pack of paper in case you cannot remember. I then walked back to the hotel and at midday the prearranged taxi collected me from the hotel on time and driving back to the airport with no issues. I've never had a cosmetic procedure before in my life so was a little bit apprehensive but from day one when speaking to Kaan, through to meeting the staff at the clinic and the doctor I was hugely impressed and relieved. I would highly recommend if anyone is considering this treatment. I also think that this is a huge amount of value for money. The package including everything and I was hugely impressed. Now I just wait :)”

“I started to research GetHair transplant back in 2019, after a recommendation from a friend that had his transplant with GetHair. I had to delay scheduling a date due to COVID until April 2022. The communication that was provided prior to going, could not have been better. The process from arriving in Turkey to returning was very professional, could not fault the coordination, the Hotel, the process, the Doctor and entire medical staff. Glad that I selected GetHair !!!”
