“found it very simple and easy to join .... received texts firstly then this questionaire and of course the membership card as well as car sticker with various phones in case of in necessity”

“Have not have to use the breakdown cover yet ,but it was very easy to sign up and what did like with gem is covers you if you run out of fuel(some dont) and it for you , not just the car .Also the app idea looks great so you dont have to explain where you are ,what i think for most people it is hard to explain where you are even if you know the area let along if you in area you dont no .”

“Never had to call them out but found renewal confusing.thinl I ended up joining again. Price on line was cheaper than renewal quote which is unfair to existing customers.”

“After reading reviews on the various breakdown companies and looking at what was covered for, I opted for GEM. Applying for GEM breakdown cover was straightforward. Everything was clear and simple, i.e. the two options and the add-ons. Given what the standard cover includes, the price was very competitive.”

“good from the point of view that both my wife and I can get joint cover in one policy. not so pleased with the fact that it costs £120 and you still have to print your own documents, that strikes me as penny pinching on Gems behalf”
