Highway Robbers. Made the mistake of buying insurance with them this year after having a good experience in 2017-18. They increased the premium by a good amount but when I did a new quote the price was significantly less. I got the new policy and then had endless emails from them demanding my no claims bonus proof or they would charge me a supplement - this is the no clais proof that they wouldn't send me to send back to them! After that was finally resolved I was charged £25 for changing my car to a newer model of the same car on top of the slight increase in insurance as an admin fee. Now I need to order a Green Card because I am going to France in April and can't run the risk of waiting to see what is going to happen with Brexit as they take a week to send it out. Having been told that there was no charge I was then called back a day later demanding £25 for issuing a Green Card. this charge is not listed in their terms and conditions of business. AVOID this bunch of con artists as every change or ammendment costs at least £25. The sell insurance as if it is a loss leader and then stuff you with surcharges left right and centre. Awful company to do business with.

Worse insurance company I’ve had in my 25 years of driving, all good to start, then at the end with a policy paid in full refused to give me a Years no claims because I changed my car 2 weeks before the 12 months was up and was moving insurance companies. The staff on the phone laughed at me when I got a little upset, stay away from this company absolutely discussing customer service to say the least

All seemed good to begin with but I wish I'd read the list of negative reviews first. I recently moved address from a large town to a much smaller one and advised them of the change. After this I receive an email saying to contact them for amendments. I honestly thought this was going to be an admin fee which I was willing to pay, however the adviser states that I now owe a staggering £95.00 for the change of address. I asked for an explanation to which she advised me it was due to crime rates in the area. This town has a population of 650 people and is very quiet. Everyone knows everyone and there is no car crime. My family have lived here for years and I've just moved back. I advise her that there is no car crime and she goes off to speak to a manager. I'm then advised that it's due to a multitude of reasons but she cannot go into specifics. I asked again for a breakdown on how they have come to this decision but this is refused on confidentially reasons? At this stage I'm so confused as I'm not getting any answers. I was then given customer services email address as she states that they could look into this for me as there is nothing she can do. I have emailed them with a request on how they reached their decision and I will await their response and update accordingly. I'm confused on this increase as I'm moved from a very large town which has crime to a much smaller one with no crime and their asking for more money. I've even got my own parking spot with the property so my car is safer than before as it was on a public road. You'd think the company would be happy in this instance that their liability has been reduced but they've asked for more without any explanation. Seeing this level of money gathering is scary. I'm genuinely in fear of having an accident with these guys providing my cover now. I will most definitely be avoiding them when it's time to renew this year.

Still waiting for someone to contact me . I have now returned from my business trip and once again am waiting for someone to call me back so I change the car on my policy. I have emailed them the policy number/Customer ref number and registration number and still nothing . The next step is a call to the FCA to lodge an official complaint.

They do not offer assistance via email, do not send insurance certification by post (in paper), do not offer assistance in other languages. For telephone assistance I waited more than 55 minutes! Unacceptable! Then every change to pay dear! Pocco serious and trustworthy.

I am appalled with the service. I bought a new car, insured it then two days later got a email to contact them. They then said my policy had changed by over 300 pounds because I had exchanged my South African drivers licence for a United kingdom one. I have been driving for 32 years. I contacted a different insurer and they told me that was nonsense and gave me a far better rate. Insure to drive refused to refund the money I had paid two days before. I had been a customer for two years with them.

I have been with Insure2Drive for 6years, this year my policy renewal premium was 95% higher than last year and my 7 years NCD had been taken from my policy. I had made no claim and no-one to my knowledge had made a claim against me. Trying to get to the bottom of this was a nightmare heading towards my insurance running out on my car, as Insure2Drive have to work through brokers and they finally said that the broker could confirm that there were no claims made on my policy and I did still have 7years NCD but that my premium would still be at the higher rate. I have looked for insurance elsewhere and have my premium back to below my last years Insured2Drive quote, No explanation from Insured2Drive as to why their broker took off the NCD or raised the premium, bit shabby for being with the company for 6years. My advise look around each year, you will always get cheaper quotes when looking for insurance, and loyalty to a company does not matter it would seem.

This company seem to add whatever charges they want to your policy. When we moved address they stated that the policy premium increased, this was an increase of £50 per month on top of an already high monthly cost. They also decided they wanted a one of payment as well as the increase for the address change which is ridiculous. Bare in mind that we have 2 other vehicles with 2 other insurance companies where the premium decreased significantly (due to moving to a better area) and did not charge us to change details. We also changed vehicle which understandably on this occasion increased the premium more, however they charged us another admin charge. Furthermore, we are currently going through a not-at-fault claim that seems to be dragging on for weeks and weeks with no correspondence whatsoever from Insure2drive. Avoid this company like the plague, they will charge whatever they feel like charging you and good luck of you ever want to change any details with them. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible company.

RUDE, ARROGANT SCAMMING Insurance Company...ROGUE COMPANY Here we go again...Avoid these scammers and pay your money to a reputable and trustworthy insurance company. Date 09/02/2018 If you can afford to pay £20 extra per month on top of your monthly premium...BE MY Guest. I just spoke to a lady called Skye who charged me another £20 in addition to my £48 monthly premium...apparently the direct failed. I logged into my internet banking and guess what...completely false, there was £202 in the account and the bank confirmed that there was enough money to pay the insurance company. This is the third time I am being dupped £20 additional charges for their own fault and coincidentally in the last 3-4 months of my policy expiring. How they manipulate their systems to get point the blame on you is unreal but avoid at all cost. They are RUDE, ARROGANT and SCAMMERS Goggle ReviewCentre.com and search their name and see list of customer reviews. 1. My partner was involved in an accident in June which was not her fault. The other driver logged a claim against us and I2D contacted us as usual to clarify the situation. We counterclaimed because it was not our fault. We were informed the claims department was closed as it was a Saturday. We spoke to them a few days later during the week. The case was passed onto the legal team who contacted us about the case and the car was inspected for repairs (Quote was £1000+). My partner was signed off sick, received physio and left her job due to long-term illness. We contacted I2D months later just to be told by claim handler (Mark) and Team Leader (J. Wilgoss) that we never counter-claimed so it was an open claim. Oh, and the other driver has received their payout. The claims dept. were informed by lawyers, not to payout and they still went ahead. The excuse was - to avoid legal action against I2D. We complained about the situation and requested a review of the case including listening to the 2 phone calls, we made to counterclaim Mr. Wilgoss contacted us in November declining to proceed with the complaint. He listened to only ONE phone call and claimed they could not find the second phone call in the system so they won't agree that we counter-claimed. We are logging this case with the Financial Ombudsman before heading to court. All they extras sold out when you take out the policy are USELESS as the company does not liaise with the other Departments like their own legal team. We suffered severe financial losses due to the lack of communication between their legal team and the claims team. Complaining won't help because they don't record their calls as mentioned by the automated services. I have gone through a normal and FORMAL complaint, THEY DON'T CARE. They are after your money...YOU WILL BE ALONE WHEN A CLAIM IS LOGGED. They are dodgy and just after your MONEY. The company inspected the car for repairs, my partner had physio, the car still not repaired (7 months and still waiting), no compensation for the financial losses. With all this stuff going on, they claim that are not at fault and won't care. 2. I was contacted by Insure2Drive in November 2017 because they could not process the direct debit (apparently). I paid the money charge there and then with no issues. I contacted today (17/01/2018) as well and apparently, my direct debit failed this time and they need to take a payment but with a £20 additional charge. I complained about it but the lady said she won't do anything about it because it was my fault. Response from insurer We have received your review left online regarding the service your have received during the claim. I believe I have addressed your complaint(s) over two letters dated 21st November 2017 and 29th November 2017. I attach both of these for reference. I note in your review you are pursuing the matter further via the Financial Ombudsman Service and I look forward to hearing from them in due course. From J Wilgoss Edit Reply from Insure2drive Published 18 January 2018 Hi Ngange, We are very sorry to see your review but thank you for your comments. This will be looked into. Kind Regards

WARNING!! WARNING!! WARNING!! Stay away from these fraudsters! By far and away the most dishonest company that I have ever come across! Fought a claim with them for over 2 years while paying thousands in insurance and them always saying they could not contact the other insurance company I finally left them and lost my no claim bonus! Now over 2 months after I left them they are trying to blackmail me into a court appearance or they will simply accept the other claim. So it seems it’s going to be more money, lawyers and the Financial Ombudsmon Service! Please don’t do this to yourselves and family!! 😥😥😥

Must avoid at all cost. I tried to make changes same day I purchased and was advised I need to pay forty something pounds. I decided to cancel it instead and was told theres a fee of forty something pounds. A mistake should not cost that much. Ridiculous. Never again with this company.
