The page was bright and easy to input details and the quote was. reasonable.
There were a lot of checks and balances at every stage and I was reassured that I was buying a genuine product tailored to my requirements. The aftercare - checking documents etc and using the app has been reassuring - so far so good and I have every confidence in the policy and Hastings direct”

“Gave me a reasonable price for insurance, however the blackbox is highly flawed. Being pinged for high phone use when not driving and lowering my score is very jarring, and makes me scared to drive near the speed limits as to not lower any other factors.”

“The sensitivity of “you drive” is ridiculous. Getting penalised for harsh breaking when I’m leaving plenty of room to slow down and softly breaking plenty before the lights on ring roads.”

I'm sorry to see that you've not having the best experience with the telematics policy. The Telematics team does take into account that you will have to adapt to the road ahead and that this, as well as other road users can cause you to take actions that may impact your score.
