“This is the worst car insurance experience I have had in the United Kingdom. GoSkippy seems more focused on making money than providing good customer service. There are many hidden charges.
When I started the policy, I only received an email about the policy premium and a very small cancellation charge. Later, I found out that the actual cancellation charges are equal to, or even more than, one month’s premium, including other hidden fees. These charges were not clearly shown when I took out the policy.
They also asked for documents only after the policy had started, not before. This creates problems for customers. If the documents are not submitted, it can lead to issues with future claims or force the customer to cancel the policy themselves.
I would not recommend this insurance to people who are already struggling to manage their daily expenses. This has been a very disappointing and upsetting experience.”
