“I'm quite happy. The only concern is that I never had the chance to talk with a human because there's questions I want to ask but didn't have the chance. The cost of insurance is absolutely great and the ease of use is very good. I'm having trouble logging onto portal, apart from that it's all good (for now) let's see what the future holds.”
“Got a quote for car insurance, tried to proceed to payment but couldn't because I need to read the "Insurance Product Information Document" but when I try to open the link provided I'm redirected to a new page with the same error asking to try again later. Tried multiple times in different devices and different times but the error persisted.
Contacted the support via online chat and was told that I had to call. Tried to call to the given number where I was informed that I shouldn't need to access that document at this time, and after speaking with the manager the support person asked me to open that that document from the website but couldn't even explain where in the website at which point I gave up...
After that sent an email to the support with screenshots (in this complaint in attach as well) that I thought would help them understand where the problem was and where I explicitly said that the problem was in a step before proceeding for payment. Got a reply saying that the payment must be done directly with them on the phone. I replied back saying that I didn't reach the payment step and to please read my previous message carefully to which I received almost the exact same reply.
This could be a great joke but, it isn't. Most companies are quite good at getting you in and then is when you start having trouble. GoSkippy is bad even at that.
On top of that when I tried to make a complaint using their online chat and they give me a phone number (which I did not try) and a link to a page that is basically a page for a development environment used for testing etc. Just just shows the level of amateurism of a company that you need to rely on.
If you can do yourself a favor, pay a bit more for your policy somewhere else and avoid a few headaches dow the road.”
