I wish I could give them 0 stars. The customer service is beyond appalling. To get through to a phone operator I had to wait over half an hour on 5 different occasions until finally someone picked up. I wanted to cancel my policy and asked about the procedure and the charges. The customer service advisor was so inept that it took her over 20 minutes to understand my simple enquiry. How much have I paid so far? How many days of service did you provide? How much will you refund me? In the end I could find out that I would be refunded just over £200 for an insurance I had paid £1000 in advance for and used for just over 2 months. I ask for a breakdown of charges and got no response, only a list of charges: Add-on charges (whatever that means, I had no add-ons) Interest charges (I wasn't even on a finance plan) Cancellation fee (£75 - not indicated before) Broker cancellation fee (couldn't tell how much and why this was being paid) In total I was deduced over £300 of inexplicable charges when cancelling my policy.

I tryed 2 pay 4 car insurance. With my Visa card and it didnt happem. Money is in my account. I need car insurance pëease kindly look into this asap. Please

Trying to pay my policy for the last 2 days 6 calls at approx 20 mins each whilst at work. Why they couldnt tell me they were having technical in the recorded message which is now firmly planted in my brain. Your call is important to us please stay on the line.Your having a laugh my if call is that important why did you cut me off on the last call. Hometime??

It's absolute disaster to get them answer their phone. I wish I knew what an awful service thei providing. Now I will rather pay more for my insurance then I will buy another policy from them.

I've been waiting for someone to call me back for 5 days now, because I want to transfer my insurance to another car. It can't be done online, but according to them, not by phone either. This is ridiculous and infuriating that they are so uncaring about customers. They refer to the fact that the application must be approved. But for 5 days??? What am I going to do until then? Disgusting!!! I do not recommend it to anyone and I will change!!!

I tried to purchase car insurance from GoSkippy via a price comparison website but my payment repeatedly failed. I received an email with contact number and quote reference. When I rang to make payment (on hold for hours!) they said they could not find the quote and wanted to quote again. I assume this is a con and an attempt to provide a direct quote therefore allowing GoSkippy to pocket the brokerage fee

Trying to insure my new car, now been sat on my drive for days. Impossible to speak to anyone. I’ve been hung up on twice, will not be recommending this company to anyone.

Awful to deal with. Could not make a final payment. Each time i called the phone was answered to tell me they were too busy to speak to me and somebody would call back. They never did. Each time i tried to pay over the phone they said my card had declined despite there being more than enough to cover the payment. One of the worst experiences i've had dealing with a company

The worst customer service I have ever encountered. I wanted to put my insurance on another car because mine broke down. This cannot be done online, unlike with other insurance companies, where everything can be done in 10 minutes. I called customer service, where the lady spoke with such an accent and so quickly that I asked her to speak more slowly before she hung up. This is disgusting!!! Then I called her again and he asked me questions about the other car that I simply did not understand. Does it have an immobilizer???? Really???? Does it have a tracker and who put it in??? Really??? Then after all this he told me that he would have to authorize this with a higher manager and they would call me back within 24-48 hours!! And how do I get to work until then???? I have had insurance with this company for a couple of years, nothing has ever gone wrong with my car. I have always been a loyal customer and now I get this??? This is outrageous!!! I will switch next year!!!

Bought premier policy which showed key care and other extras included in quote but when I got the documents, nothing was included and was told to buy all extra with additional price.

Very very bad company the agents are rude Andy female agent hung up on me she did not deal with my query they are con be careful they charge you for changing your address on the portal they will charge you for changing amending details on the phone there is no getting away it’s like they trap you and your stuck you cancel they charge just avoid them at all cost

Steer well clear from this company, had the Insurance policy for 1 month, we bought a new car and they tried quoted double the price for the same type of vehicle. At an attempt to cancel they made it as difficult as possible many phone calls later to be told we will be charged over £200 for a months insurance, to then be told it hasn’t been cancelled. Absolutely horrendous service. DO NOT USE Goskippy!

Very poor communication from their customer service’s department. They said that they had sent emails and letters through the post. In actual fact they had sent nothing and just cancelled the policy!! Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. Avoid this company at all costs.
