Took several attempts for someone to answer the phone - still unsuccessful. Requested a call back - took 48 h . Nobody replies to emails . I wanted to change my renewal to reduce mileage and new quote was given higher- advisor can’t explain why . Nonsense . Switched to other company as gives me anxiety thinking I would have to deal with them for another year .

Absolutely worst insurance company ever. I was insured less than a day and cancelled. Rang 3 times and asked for a callback I’m still waiting. Customer service is appalling and they have a I’m not bothered attitude. Thankfully I don’t have to deal with this company again. I would rather pay more n future to avoid this company

After my buying my car when it was taxed I only received my v5 4 days ago, therefore I did not get tax reminders or a letter through telling me to tax it. Therefore this was human error, this was at no fault of anyone. Not only did they give me less than 24 hours to find a new insurer you also gave me no warning what so ever that they were going to cancel my insurance because of this. The least they could have done was remind me or let me know not just cancel me knowing how it would affect me trying to get insurances in the future and now this is on my file for god knows how long. I think this is a despicable way to treat someone. I am pregnant and I have appointments to attend and now I have this stress ontop of this for a simple mistake which was rectified before 8am this morning before they even decided to cancel my insurance which makes it even worse!! I honestly can’t believe they treat people this way.

Absolute nightmare. Zero call backs from them . No-one ever answers the phone and now my dad's insurance as run out. He's tried renew it for last 2 weeks .

Renewal was handled so poorly - spent hours waiting for someone to answer the phone - E Mailed and had no response. Finally got through and premium quoted was 3 times the market rate.

Called to change my insurance over to a new car, wouldn’t give me a quote said it was be 2-3 days! Just to change cars! So I was forced to cancel. Zoe on the phone was very rude and barely spoke, shouting and screaming in the backround from others,awful customer service and awful call centre!! Based in South Africa?? She said it would be £200 for me to cancel my insurance?? Which doesn’t seem right, she confused herself on the phone with these numbers, couldn’t really explain why it is so much! I’m a young driver just saved up for a car and they’re charging over £200!!!?!? It’s absolutely crazy! I would never recommend this company again! Awful experience. Please don’t spend your money here!!

Please, and I say please dont fo with go skippy insurance! They will rip you off in brought daylight! You will pay enormous cancelation charges! Biggest mistake I ever done…

I was insured with GoSkippy for 4 years very happy in 2023 when I need to renew again the insurance £300 extra they ask me to pay it’s really shameful they don’t really respect the costumers.

Penalise you for cancelling within cooling off period. I was charged £25 just for exercising my right to cancel my policy within the cooling off period, before my cover had started. This fee is just designed to deter anyone from doing so. Very slippery practice. Avoid.

I had a quote valid until my insurance was due. However when I went to purchase the policy, I got messages saying payment not processed and my session could not be accessed. Difficult to process the payment as I had not reached that stage, as I was going through the summary to ensue all details were correct, I phoned your call centre and absolutely appalling service, first person cut me off, tried again, the agent could not get his head around my query, kept saying my line was breaking up , I requested him to call me back - he hung up - guess what !!!! No call back Next morning I called again, the lady wad only interested in selling me a policy at the current price not the quote price, was clueless and adamant I paid £20 to purchase the overpriced policy via the phone. I requested to speak to a supervisor / manager, I just wanted too buy the original quote which was valid for another 2 days. Transferred me to another call centre agent, WITHOUT explaining my problem, so I had to go through it all again. This agent was clueless and was adamant I had altered the quote details and a new price would apply. And she could not access the original quote now and sell me at the original price - the price increased again according to this agent. There was no one able to deal with the technical issue, I still have the original quote confirmation emails, but everytime I clicked through to GoSkippy on that quote which was valid the price increased !!!! Not one of your agents - overseas call centre - could help, had a clue other than stating parrot fashion from the script ! Even the email reply I received from yourselves regarding the email I sent, explaining the issues, with screen shots as evidence attached, is laughable ! Totally ignored the issues raised and responded with a policy has been purchased ! Shocking service, I had no option but to purchase a more expensive policy, but I will never recommend you, and more concerning is what kind of service will one get when or if I need to invoke the policy and claim !!!! Still awaiting a satisfactory reply or even a response to the initial query ?

GoSkippy automatically renewed my car insurance without my permission. Even worse was taking a whole years payment from my bank account without my consent. Just because I paid outright last year does not mean I am in a position to do the same this year especially as I am experiencing a cost of living crisis. GoSkippy has left me in a position of not having all the funds to pay my mortgage at the end of this month - outrageous - I am livid. How dare they keep hold of my card details and request payment from my bank - this was not a direct debit. They also claimed to have given me a call, following my request a couple of days ago, however I was driving at the time and phone rang once then the person hung up. GoSkippy need to refund £369.30 now.
