“OMG This is 100% a joke the guy that owns this company needs to call his own company. All I want is to swap my car over simple right well iv been trying to for a week porthole online rubbish does not work every single time iv called nobody has picked up this week at all. I have called every day for up to an hour now I'm stuck what can I do ??? Nothing if they won't pick up I can't get insured if I drive the car I'm braking the law what a joke please people if u go with this campy because they 100pound cheaper trust me pay the more money to go with a better company”

“Shocking Company. I took out insurance on the 30th of March thought everything was fine, when I had not received any email from them on the following day I called and was told they were so busy with new customers that there was a short delay in sending out documents but they would send them straight away. When they never came over the weekend I called back at 10am on the Monday 3rd of April they promised they would send them as soon as I put the phone down. I then got a call at 5pm that night saying that on one part of the form I had ticked that I was partnered and on another married so had not been on cover. I explained that I am Civil partnered and that option is not available the guy said well I had better pick another option.and they would make a new application. I was driving for 4 days uninsured, What if I had been involved in an accident or got stopped by police, After two hours on the phone to them they still could not send me a policy. Total joke of a company and I am sure I will have a fight on my hands getting my deposit back. DO NOT GO NEAR THEM.”

“We called them regarding a quote we done online, listened to that annoying song over 16 minutes, after someone answered who I guess was having his lunch and just kept asking if we want to pay today. Tried to say we done a quote online and give him the quote number but he just hanged up. Rude people”
“I insured with them through a comparison website. I needed my documents emailed (or a cover note) straight away so I could forward it to the car company. After several phone calls I was told the policy was not live so they were unable to forward any documentation. I told them to cancel the policy as they were so incompetent only to be told that they couldn't cancel it as it was already live!!! Then eventually managed to get a credit card refund. And now 3 months later they are pestering me for payment of my policy that apparently is still live and has not been cancelled at all. Now waiting for somebody to call me back abd no phone call. Absolute joke. Just avoid!!!”

“Hi.to cancel a 800 pounds insurance they will keep my 200 deposit and they want me to pay 219 more as fees.The thing is that i made another one with GoSkippy and i already payed it fully 1025 pounds,but they don't have my docs(funny,cuz i am already theyr client) and i will cancel the second one and lose 75 pounds.I'm really happy that i'm going to leave them.”

After been placed on hold (totalling 2hrs plus)and passed from department to another only to that they can't transfer my insurance from a van to a car. Then give me totally ridiculous quote for a new policy,at which I was told in needed to cancel my insurance at a cost of £75 even though there's still 2 months to run on the policy. I was then put on hold again and transferred to and department only to be told that could not I couldn't cancel because wasn't the policy holder even it's on their records that I can speak on behalf of the policy holder

“Just trying to renew your policy is like trying to climb mount everest! they pick up the phone and say they will ring you back within minutes or hours, never happens!! once they pick up your passed through loads of advisors and then usually cut off!!”
“Ask them to cancel my policy as of expiry, received 3 calls the next day, all where dead when i answered. Then had to call back in to find out the policy was still going to continue.”
“Bad so bad. Waited forever on the phone but could not get through. Had a webchat and was advised "somebody" would call me back within 1 hour................. that was over 3 hours ago and still waiting. No such thing as customer service here. They used an old address on our new policy which had already been updated and all the dates on the paperwork had 2016.”

I am a very polite person I use my manners daily and I had to tell the advise she was very rude! It's the whole company I have rang twice and have now decided to cancel our insurance after 10 months I rather lose my ncb than he spoke to or treated so badly! You need to train your staff to not be so rude and if you can't afford Customer Service skills

“Cancelled my policy because of there mistake, wrote to me on the 27th march saying they was cancelling my policy on the 28th because i havent gave them information that they asked for,they didnt ask for any rude staff and womt re instate because its already cancelled! “This company and its service is the worst i have had the displeasure of dealing with for a long time. Poor telephone CS. Poor features and information handling. I do not believe these are a professional insurance service. I strongly advise against use of this company. Pay a bit extra and go with one you have heard of before.”
“Terrible customer service, waiting on hold for hours, passed from pillar to post by people who don't or won't understand your issue, promise to call back then never do. And every time we speak to them they have magically lost all the notes from the previous call. Dare I say it even worse than TalkTalk.”
“They repeatedly asked for proof of no claims and driving license, when I had confirmation emails saying they had received them. This went on for 5 weeks, with them repeatedly emailing me to say they would cancel my insurance within 24 hours if I didn't get the documents to them Eventually had to send by (expensive) signed for postage.
Today I was buying a new car and wanted to update my insurance with the new car details...OMG!.. they said it would have to go to underwriters and would take 48 hours before they could give me a quote. And in the meantime my other insurance would be cancelled!
The staff are rude, you are passed to different departments with no apology. It takes hours to speak to anyone - AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. They do say' buy cheap by twice' that is so true of Go Skippy.”
