“Was with them for just over a year, at first wasn't to bad but very expensive if you changed car, silly fees always, and calling them was a night mare could be on hold for a hour then they would hang up so you have to call again and again so looking from 2 to 3 hours before speaking to them (unless you are buying new policy that is then only min or too ) I left them after 6weeks in to my 2nd year as with buying a newer car they wouldn't swop over so cancelled my insurance or rather say I would have too email to cancel. It cost me or was going to over £300 even though they cancelled not me. I ended up paying just over £190 to cancel even though they cancelled not me, as they wouldn't insure my new car. ide had no claims and always paid on time. note they also took my monthly fee also and said that the refund was included in final fee 3 weeks refund as only just paid and still paid £190 plus what ever was refunded as they took that also so prob paid over £240. bloody rip offs atrocious customer service. only use them as last resort or along the way you will be ript off by them guaranteed”

“I write this review whilst on hold for 22 minutes trying to get though to customer service. They are RUDE and difficult to communicate with. You can do everything via email -but they do not respond - and this is t do with submission of documents - THREE TIMES. Go Sh**ty as they should be called cancelled the insurance via text. Nice. Called them, spoke to an arrogant tw*t and they had not received a payment die on the first cancelled on the 2nd - you work that on out. Got put though to another department, not payment but.... hadn't received docs. I have a CLEAR AUDIT TRAIL of emails and they promised a call back same day at 6pm. Yep, you guessed it. NO CALL FROM GO Sh**ty. 26 minutes now....

I came home to a letter today notifying me that I am no longer insured by you because you had no verification code for the additional driver?! I now have to disclose that I had a policy cancelled for the rest of my life?! This is increasing any future policy by over 50 percent! And then you want to charge me 200quid for 30days worth of cover!!! That's 50percent of the original quote I was given for 12months cover! Shocking! I will take this to my local MP , trading standards and name and shame you all over social media!”

My partner took out an insurance with them, now as he is in hospital unable to speak or do anything. I am not able to cancel his insurance for him even tho I explained his situation they still need to speak to him!! I have never heard anything like it in my life!! What a waste of my time. My partner took insurance with them and them and then 7 days later told him that his quote was wrong and they wanted to charge an extra £15 for his insurance with an additional £50 administration fee when it was their fault the quote was incorrect. We cancelled the insurance and paid a £20 cancellation fee (a lot cheaper than an additional £65). We are currently waiting for a refund. We then found another insurance quote which was cheaper than Go Skippy but be careful because there are other company's that trade under the same name as Go Skippy. We were lucky that we were still in our 14 day cancellation period.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!
Went with Hastings in the end, much better quote and a well known brand.”
“Go Skippy have to be the worst insurance company I have had the displeasure of dealing with. They cancelled my insurance without notice!! “Stay away! Robbing thieves! Paid my policy in full for the year, then they repeatedly said they hadn't received my emails regarding my driving licence details, no claims etc. This despite sending them of 4 different email addresses. Rang them a handful of times to explain these difficulties, was encountered with absolute idiots whos grasp of the english language was shocking! Tried to cancel the policy only for them to cancel on me. Oh yeah and then charged me for the privelage. Worked out they stole a 150 pound of me. Stay away guys presently reporting them to the ombudsman. Pay the extra couple of hundred for a reputable insurer. Bandits! Pains me to even leave a star!”
