“Got them through go compare thought great cheap motorbike filled in everything correct on the compare website didnt get a copy of my insurance policy and when I was not out my motorbike find out when I reported it that they have the correct information on system I will say they help a bit with the claim but then wanted all the information again and for me to prove where I lived as had to stay at my mom after accident cause closer to hosiptal plus when I've got to cancel the insurance cause they are saying that they can't change the insurance over to the new bike they tell me I've got to pay the remaining cost of the policy which is £400 and when I ask why when they check my licence and background if something was wrong with the information why didn't they call me got told they don't check everyone's I replied so my 6 could of got insurance then they hanged up on me please anyone thinking of going with them don't maybe cheap but will cost you more in the long run”
“The same as what everyone else is saying.... they cancelled my car insurance due to supporting documents that they said I had until a certain time to send.
Then they Text informing me the car insurance was cancelled 5days prior to the text actually being sent! so I'd been driving illegally! Then they sent me a cancellation fee!

“I took car insurance out with this company arranged to pay monthly and paid £77.00, I then realised straight away that I had forgotten to add my husband as a extra driver. Phoned them up early the next day and was then charged a further £66.00 to cover him for the year. However the very same day we realised we had been sold a broken vehicle and therefore the car was returned to the garage. I informed the insurance regarding the situation, to be refunded £61.25 ! When I complained I was told it was cancellation fees, when I explained that it was within the 2 week cooling off period I was then told it was admin and amendment fees. I explained that being charged £82 for one day driving was disgusting I was told that's what it is ! I'm furious that this company can just keep people's hard earned cash without any remorse at all. I will never use this company again and will definitely advise anyone I know to avoid them at all costs. Shocking customer service.”
“Awful company, I have paid my premium up front for 12 months, which runs out in November. I rang to cancel and they said I had to pay £50 cancellation fee. I have told them I am not paying it. “I would avoid at all cost £50 to change address and eaven been charged for them getting date of birth rong then there system went down so if payment not receved with in 14 days thay will stop my policy thay seem to say this all the time when thay ow me money i can wait up to 4 weeks and i carnt say nothing no manigers on there team thay say so you carnt speek to them

Rip of charge you for everything switching cars £90 fee adding someone to policy £50 fee everyone is a fee even cancelling you can just ring up and cancel policy you have to send email which it takes them 7 days to respond had to ring 5 times in a que 25 mins everytime I called them God knows how much that cost and now I am having trouble getting my no claims bonus just another ignored email looks like I will have to ring another 5 times to get my no claims pure joke”
“Insured my cat a week ago and my payment was taken and received a confirmation email saying I was insured and they had received my payment.
Checked yesterday and my car was showing as u aired so I called go skippy. This first call lasted over an hour while I was passed around and put on hold 7 times being transferred to every department multiple of times to be told the no one knew what was goi g in
The second call my partner made lasted over 3 hours, he was on hold for 90 minutes and. They still couldn't find the policy even though they agreed that they had taken the payment
7 hours later the matter was finally resolved and the policy was activated
So for a week I've been driving with no insurance. What would o gapped if I'd holid someone or been pulled over by the police?? Absolutely appalling customer service”
“Unclear definitions of information required, assumptions everyone knows all the insurance jargon, rude staff who speak over you, worrying assumptions on your position. Quick to charge and add excessive fees. All of this without actually confirming I have insurance cover with them!”
“I'm currently insured with them but my goodness do they not want me to be. Their price was cheap so I went with them but the issues they've thrown at me to get my policy validated is unbelievable. itd like they purposefully throw obstacles at you in the validation process so you'll give up, they'll cancel your policy and then charge you for your trouble. After weeks of emails and sending documents in various formats, a quick threat of the ombudsman and demand to speak to management I got sorted but some people won't be so lucky. Avoid at all costs.”
“If I could give minus 1000000000 Stars it would not be low enough for scammers. Paid 200 in full I cancelled month later due to sale of bike. They sent me an email saying I owed them more money when I should have got a refund. Kept me on hold for an hour every time I called them and forced me to hang up. Oh their customer service number costs 50p per min.”
“Absolutely terrible customer service!!!! I have never been so appalled with an insurance company. The initial set up of my insurance policy was easy however when I attempted to add an additional driver onto my policy I was told that this couldn't be done unless my policy was dropped to third party even though I had already paid in full for my fully comprehensive policy, I was told that the only way I could do it was to cancel my existing policy and start over!!! Losing over £150 from my original policy then paying additional fees for the new policy!!! I have been on the phone with them for over 2 hours now and they are still yet to have changed my policy!!!! “Can't warn people enough to stay away from this 'Go Skippy'. They bully young teenagers into paying for added extras which are 'needed' or apparently 'owe' and enough go to the extent of trying to get bailiffs etc to my house and taking me court when it's down to the company because they didn't take payment the first time. You cannot be in debt or pay cancellation fees if you haven't paid for something, let alone not receiving it for months! You do not make sense! Certainly do not know service with a smile
