Have a friend who had a policy with these crooks and had huge problems when involved in a no fault claim. WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, JUST RUBBISH.”

Complaint taken to the ombusman who found completely in our favour, yet told by Ombusman to rectify their mistake they STILL drag their feet, Jasmine the complaint handler is incompetent just like the sham of a business!

“I got car insurance off goskippy they told me that there would be no problem to switch it to a van at a later stage .so when I called them 6 weeks later them said I would need to pay a cancelation fee .of £140 why cant them just be honest”

“Guys don't fall for the 5 or 4 star reviews..they are mostly fake done by Goskippy themselves. These guys are scams and wake up to cheat people off money. They give you smal amounts but rip you off. They did it on me.. they took 100s of pounds for less than two weeks even though the policy states otherwise. They threaten and withdraw money from your account via another scammy credit company and refuse to return. Most customer service you speak to are based in India and abroad and hold middle finger to all the laws. Join them if you want to be ripped off.”

After being with this insurance company I had drama after drama they charged me £200 to change my insurance to my other vehicle then another £240 To change it back after discussing it with them I decided to cancel the policy as it would be cheaper for £197!!! THEN A YEAR LATER THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE ME £204 when I don’t even have a policy with them and I don’t even have that vehicle anymore I wouldn’t even give them 1 star!!!! BAD INSURANCE I WILL NEVER GO WITH THEM AGAIN”
“After having this insurance for less then 6 months they charged me £200 to change my insurance over to my other vehicle..... Then another £200 to change its back! So after discussing with them buy making a new policy it would be cheaper then changing back they said yes!!! I then cancelled the policy of £197 because it was cheaper to just cancel!!! A YEAR LATER..... they are trying to charge me £204 when I don’t have the policy anymore, I don’t even have the same vehicle BAD INSURANCE I WILL NEVER GO WITH THEM AGAIN and I wouldn’t even give them 1 star!!!!!”

Absolutely terrible. Wanted to remove a named driver, was told you had to do it on your portal. Removed the name but it was still showing on my policy. I then found out t was not being removed because I had to pay £100 to do it. This fee was never mentioned to me before. I was so angry I cancelled my policy and then was told because I had gone over my two week cooling down period I then have to pay £127 to cancel. I would have cancelled this policy 10 days ago if I had know about the £100 being charged to remove a driver. Terrible, terrible communication and very bad, bored and unhelpful customer services. AVOID AVOID”

“I wasn’t impressed with customer service at all, setting up my insurance was a complete nightmare from the start. My deposit was taken and I was told everything was all set up, I then had a missed call saying they needed more information at which I called only to be told there was no trace of any agreement, all my details were taken again so I thought great it’s now sorted, then my first payment was taken from my account from the finance company and two days later the payment was taken again from another finance company. I called again and had to send proof of this as there was no trace of this second transaction. It got sorted eventually but I spoke to different people in customer services none of which seem to have a clue what they were doing. I wouldn’t recommend to friends and doubt I will renew my policy.”

“I set up a policy with you and couldn't send my documents so my insurance was cancelled I received a charge and was refunded the rest of my deposit. How dare you then proceed to debit my account twice! Lucky I realised or I'd be gettin charged every month when it was cancelled?”

Constant emails saying if I want to renew car insurance contact them, no indication policy auto renews. 2 days before policy due to renew money taken from my bank account. I had no intention of renewing with them. Now to wait up to 14 days for refund of my own money.”
“On asking if I was eligible for a refund as I have just had 12 weeks off due to coronavirus, I work for Social Services but could not work due to health issues, I pointed out most of my family and friends had received refund from their car insurance providers, I was told a definite no. This proved that GoSkippy is a profit driven company and clearly do not appreciate loyalty, so I will not be renewing on principle. I'm just hoping in the event of me having to make a claim I'm hoping they will be more helpful and understanding.”
