About Gazegill Organics:

Our family have been farming at Gazegill for about 500 years and as current custodians our responsibility to continue farming in a sustainable and nature led way is very important. We have always believed that nature is never wrong and farming organically produces healthier food from happier animals within a sound ecological system. Happy, healthy animals make better food with a traditional flavour. The rare and traditional breeds that we keep are better suited to the organic system and are slowly grown, this ensures a longevity of life based around a natural approach to farming. We love them to bits, they are our extended family.

“I ordered several bones, chicken carcasses and chicken feet for my broth. Although I have yet to use them, the appearance and smell have far exceeded any other bones I have purchased elsewhere. No doubt this high quality will extend to my bone broth's taste and collagen content. I will update in due course.”

“I ordered some mutton and sausages for Christmas and they were both delicious. It’s good to know that the sheep and pigs are raised on a small organic farm, which I see as the future of farming. I’m glad to be able to support the farm in this way.”

“The one gammon we have had was lovely - other in freezer. I like fat on bacon rashers but 3/4 fat is far too much at that price, surprised you despatched it. The delivery was a day earlier than notified (if my memory is correct). The Gammon said use by 19/12. I wanted to cook on 25th.”
