About Gazegill Organics:

Our family have been farming at Gazegill for about 500 years and as current custodians our responsibility to continue farming in a sustainable and nature led way is very important. We have always believed that nature is never wrong and farming organically produces healthier food from happier animals within a sound ecological system. Happy, healthy animals make better food with a traditional flavour. The rare and traditional breeds that we keep are better suited to the organic system and are slowly grown, this ensures a longevity of life based around a natural approach to farming. We love them to bits, they are our extended family.

“I've been buying organic meat from Gazegill Organics for a couple of years now & I'm really satisfied with the quality of their produce. I also like the fact that I know who the owners are, which is more than I can say about an organic supplier based in Devon that I've used in the past.”

“We have been using Gazegills for many years now. Their meat is the best I have ever tasted and I have worked in animal production research all my working life and always used organic meat/ food myself partly bescause of that! The other main reason is animal welfare . I also worked in animal behaviour when it was taken into account by the 'Bramble Committee Report.' I am 78! There is no better result of all this being taken into account than Gazegills meat/ production in my view. Happy animals produce the best meat and enjoy their lives as they should.”
