“The wool pellets I ordered arrived very quickly. Excellent service. However, the nematodes have not arrived yet. I phoned the office and they told me that they will be dispatched today (17 May), i ordered them 2 weeks ago. It is fine but we should have been told that the order was going to be late/delayed. The person on the phone was very polite and helpful.”

“Really good products but I find the website quite hard to navigate. Not your fault. For instance ordered 3 bean hoops thinking it would be enough for 3 pairs of hoops. Have now had to order another 3 🤪. Complete hoops showing as out of stock. Emailed and got really quick response, was told no jute netting in stock but I ordered seperately. And obviously not enough hoops!! Really like your products and the variety of products tho, especially for veggie growers. Delivery a bit mixed up but again not your fault. Ruth”

“Normally good, but this time, despite promising my nematodes in one or two days, they did not arrive for a week and a half. I work in other peoples gardens and lost two days work because I could not plant. Not happy”

Hi, I'm sorry to hear this. We do say to allow a day on either side of your selected delivery date due to the product however I can see you selected Sunday for your delivery date however we don't post them on Saturday in case they get stuck in the post over the weekend. “Not sure how nature-friendly these replacement Slugo pellets are. On the package, there are warnings about keeping away from water sources & warnings about keeping pets clear of the pellets. It doe's say the pellets will break down into the ground, but I have a slight concern about how safe they are for wildlife eg Hedgehogs & Birds. As they were a replacement for a preferred Slug management product & as I have never used this product before only time will tell how Good or Bad they are.”

“As a company, I'd probably try them again, the product arrived swiftly and well packaged. No issues there. The veg cage balls and mesh net, the tubes seem really good quality and the balls are a good strong material, they fitted together well and was easily built. The net is great and looks like it will definitely hold out the bugs and critters however the amount supplied was so small that it was really hard to ensure you get it fully covering it all. It means you really have to push the frame into the ground, which then means the cage is not as tall above the veg bed as I had intended. I wish that this had been made clearer on the product description page.”

Thank you for your feedback; in the 'How to use' section of the listing, this provides the information regarding the cage uprights being 1.2m and that they need to be pushed 30cm into the ground which will give you the 900mm erected height. If you have any problems with the cage, please don't hesitate to email us or give us a call.

“Your products are very good as is your range. However, I tried to order two sections of netting 4x7 and was delivered one section 4x14. Not disastrous but inconvenient.”

“Sirs. I ordered fine mesh netting to go over the frame that I had purchased from you the week before, to protect our show daffodils from adverse weather. Having seen the upcoming forecast of bad weather I asked, and paid for, “Express Delivery” (1 to 2 days). On Tuesday 7th March I received an email telling me the parcel had been “Dispatched” and was “with Royal Mail on a tracked service and the delivery time will be 1-2 days”. The package has finally arrived late afternoon today Monday 13th March having been with Royal Mail for 6 days. Alas this is now too late for our show daffodils as they have been hammered by the snow over this past weekend. Sirs, I thank you for turning around this order promptly, however, I think you should reconsider the wisdom of using Royal Mail as your delivery service in future. A very disappointed Brian Sharp.”

“The items arrived promptly but one had been damaged in transit. This was quickly replaced but the replacement was damaged in transit! I have suggested that they explore a more robust packing material for that particular item”

“There’s nothing wrong with the service. However, the product itself (expandable trellis) has undoubtedly declined in quality. I have ordered this item a number of times over a few years and the ones that have just been delivered are smaller and less strong (thinner stems used in the construction) They barely meet the specifications in terms of size or quality . This survey is not satisfactory either. I don’t seem to be able to register that the item was not as expected.”

Hi, Thank you for your feedback, we are actively trying to increase the amount of information, guides and FAQs on our website in order to make it easier for those new to gardening. Unfortunately, with our catalogue we are limited on space due to weight, so it would be difficult for us to put more information in there than we currently do.
